Found Deceased GA - James "Greg" Powell, 61, Canton, 2 Nov 2025

I'm confused by the addresses. On google maps the road by the racquet club is called Racquet Drive. I presume this is one and the same street.

If so, the houses are on the south side of the road and are all odd addresses, no even addresses.
Secondly, the house in the video shown of Greg dropping Ally off looks to be on a cul du sac. There is no tennis club across the road.

Have I got the wrong place?

It's a different house. (and the house at 105 Racquet doesn't have a porch that looks like this.)

Do I have the wrong subdivision? Or is Google maps wrong? Or the addresses in the timeline incorrect?
this is the correct spot of the Tennis Courts Parking Lot. 105 Racquet Drive is a very oddly shaped PL and spread out.

Here are the exterior views of Greg's car as of today. It is still parked in the common parking lot of the tennis courts. as reported. Going to get some pics of the inside in the morning to show what I previously stated.
That’s a bit wild that they haven’t towed it yet. I figured they would, but I guess they have no proof that it’s worth scrubbing for evidence yet.

(Though definitely don’t touch the car, lol. Don’t want anyone getting into trouble ☺️)

Car is still there as of 11/09. The window writing has faded due to rain, but the detective's card remains. front seats only have a charger, black tape, and scissors. This is most likely due to the bumper repairs using the same tape. Trunk is full. Clothes, laptop, dog leash, and cooler

Does Greg have family nearby? Yes. He lived very close to where his car was found.
His sister lives very close in the same city

Does it appear he is living out of the car?

Where are you Greg? I hope you are safe.

Leaving a dog behind would be so difficult. I hope Greg's ok and just needed a break or is temporarily running from some problems.

Negative. He lived in the neighborhood. But maybe did go out for "trips" no evident survival tools or food in the car

So I guess he really didn't leave with much, if anything at all. At most, maybe he had a phone and a wallet. But you'd expect clothing and a phone charger to go with you on a trip.

He's officially been missing for a week now.

Went to get pictures of the inside this morning and a detective was on scene with the trunk opened. Took some quick pics, as I did not want to interrupt his work and possible family members as well

I just got a reissue of the same alert I got last week. Forgot to screenshot it though 😞

I hadn’t gotten the push notification before, but I did this time. I wonder if they broadened the area they sent it to?

Here is the screenshot of the alert from 11/10 around 7:06pm EST

Scope is indeed larger (hello, I am now new to the forum!)
Received a new emergency alert in Roswell. Interested in the case, very worrisome circumstances.

Well, welcome to the discussion! I’m glad this case is getting pushed further out now. There really is no telling where he could be traveling to, if he is indeed traveling.

If anyone in the South has access to local bulletin boards in community centers, it might be helpful to post some missing persons posters. I plan to post some around my area, just in case he (or someone who saw him) sees it.

I'll see what I can do!
