Would she be able to board a train without a ticket though? She didn't have her bag with her or a jacket or cardigan to have put money or a pass in her pocket. It is a possibility though and I hope they have checked the CCTV at the station.

I know! I keep coming back here thinking there will be news. It is almost easier to find people when they left in the car because they usually find the car abandoned and the missing nearby. Did LE scour a radius of her home? It sounded like they think she never got home because it was reported they were looking around the area of Apple Valley Road and Druid Hills Road which is just north of the church. Could someone have seen her heading north rather than south towards her apartment? Otherwise not sure why Apple Valley Road was mentioned.

Tuesday’s search concentrated around the area of Brookhaven Baptist Church – where Ms. Miller attended – Apple Valley Road and behind the Kroger in Cherokee Plaza – all areas Ms. Miller frequented.

Thank you! I updated the map. I should see if there is another Kroger store closer to her house. That is a 24 minute walk.

Thank you for this map.
Is this a confirmed route to Krogers?

What do you think about her maybe going across N Druid Hills to Oglethorpe Ave to Colonial Dr and on up to the side entrance of Krogers parking lot? I haven't tried to Google drive it yet but she would be staying more on the side roads that way with less traffic.

I am wondering if she took a different bag.
The photo of her at Kroger shows her carrying a larger bag than what was shown
in the other video with the chat with her roommate, imoo.

ETA:
at 1 minute 16 seconds in this video there is a photo of her purse:

and in this link there is a photo of her at Kroger with what looks like a black bag :

No, that isn't confirmed. When I Googled it that was just the suggested route. Probably more likely she did take the less traveled route.

Great detective work on noticing the different bags she took, Treelights!

To me it looks like the bag she has on her wrist at Kroger is the same, or same type of bag, that the roommate video shows. Maybe she went back to her apartment after Kroger to put away the things she just bought then headed to church, leaving her bag behind?
I'd think if she hasn't been spotted somewhere by someone there's a good possibility that someone picked her up & gave her a ride? Could've been somebody that wasn't a nice person & did her harm.
And what about the person from church who says they were going to give her a ride home but when time came to leave she had disappeared; why didn't that person make a big deal of it, especially knowing her condition? It seems most if not all the people at her church knew she had memory issues, but no one thought it was odd that she "just disappeared" that night? Idk something is off but Idk what.

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.

Has it been verified as to what she bought at Krogers and are those items at her apartment now? I wonder if she just buys a small bag of items at a time or does she have some sort of cart that she pushes or pulls behind her? Would she use a backpack to transport groceries?

Joining here late.

I'm a bit confused. Did she disappear from the church or from her apartment? Did she first go home after Kroger and then to the church? Or did she go to church right after Kroger? Why was her bag, which she reportedly always took with her, at home? Did she leave her groceries at the church? Did she leave her coat at the church?

In my mind it would seem that she walked home after church (probably had forgotten about the offered ride, and possibly forgotten her coat/cardigan) and once home, for whatever reason headed back out. The fact she left the bag at the door and didn't take a(nother) coat could mean that she didn't mean to go anywhere far, maybe to knock on a neighbor's door or bring the trash down, or something?

But the fact that searches are not conducted around her apartment might mean that LE thinks that she never arrived home. In which case, she must have gone home after Kroger and then gone to church without her bag.

Sorry if this is a bit muddled, I feel there are some details missing, or I overlooked them, and without them the story is quite confusing.

In any case, I very much hope Sue will be found soon, and safe!

That's about it in a nutshell Elainera.
Your post made me think though, maybe when she got home from church, she realised she,d left her groceries there and headed back to the church to get them.
This is of course just speculation, assuming she made it home after the service that night.

I think you both could be on the right track. Maybe she even realized she forgot her coat?

I think it really stinks that for most people the older they get the more their mind fails. We need the wisdom they can offer and so many times they can't share it.

Yes that is possible too. Her coat or her groceries, or both. Quite possible.

So if we assume that she made it home and went back out, shouldn't the area around her home be searched? I noticed lots of green next to her apartment building, has this all been searched?

Or, if they somehow established that she didn't get home - has the church itself been searched? Could she have tried to use the bathroom and ended up in some locked storage closet or something? I don't know how large this church is. Does it have a basement, for example? Could someone get lost in there?

The reason why I feel it is a different bag is that in the Kroger photo the purse/bag is all black, to me. In the video with the roommate, the purse is shown to be multi-colored with blue, black, grey and perhaps grey or black. There is a Yellow star on it with Thanks in blue lettering with red writing underneath the Thanks. There looks to be blue, not a dark blue but a brighter blue in color underneath as well, so, unless the bag is black on the other side, I think it is a different bag, just my opinion.
IMOO.

I think the back of the bag is solid black, plus the Kroger video isn't the best, if there is blue on it I'm not sure we'd be able to tell.

There is a time stamp on the picture of her at Kroger, can anyone tell what time it is?
