The video to this link mentions that the folks at the church were the last to see her around 7pm Christmas Eve when she went to missing.

Also retention holes were drained and searched.

The reporter mentions that police told the reporter that her closest relative is a brother in Ohio but he is too feeble to travel.

If she did walk away and they have not found her yet, I think there is a good chance she is still alive..... I would think they would have found her by now otherwise. I still cannot rule out that something nefarious happened to her, and I hope they are not just focusing on the fact she walked away. I wonder who it was (mentioned earlier) that was supposed to take her home from church? Did they? Did her ride fall through? IMHO

I wonder if she walked out of the church leaving her bag there, and a friend dropped it off at her door? There was a case of a lovely lady called janet in glasgow, uk who suffered from dementia who went missing last year. She was found deceased unfortunately roughly 3 miles from home. So sad, hoping this janet is ok

Grasping for straws to keep this thread active for Janet. In the photo with the cake I did a little research and this is what she was eating. Not sure what the celebration is but there is an Easter lily on the table she is peeking around. Maybe her birthday is around Easter time?

A bit off topic here... I was searching for any new info on Janet, and reading an old article about Janet, there was current world news on the right hand side...that's how I found out about singer David Bowie who passed away...RIP David! There is a thread for him on WS.
Back to searching for anything about Janet.
I hope she is found safe and left the area and that's why she hasn't been found yet. I hope!

I was under the impression this photo was taken at the church on the night she vanished, as they had some sort of Christmas event. But maybe I misunderstood.

The last search concentrated on the areas she frequented. I would assume most people in the area checked their yards but that still leaves a lot of area to search. What about porches and yards of vacant houses?

She was supposedly last seen at the church on Christmas Eve. Are there any pictures to verify that she was there? Was the 7 pm sighting at the church? What time did service end? We don't know if she made it home after service or went missing Christmas morning? Or, even the next day?

Does she have a phone at home, a cell phone or a computer or tablet which may show activity times?

There was some kind of Christmas event at the church, and the photo with the cake was taken then.

And that's the thing, MSM states unknown color of dress.
I question why they don't know the color of the long dress since MSM states she was at the 7pm services. Did she not wear the long dress to the services?

They didn't give a description of the dress which I always thought was odd as that picture was said to be taken on Christmas Eve, at the church. I would need to go back to the very first reports to confirm that or maybe I heard it from a member of the church who said it on the videos that were shown at the first search I think it was.

I'm chuckling as maybe it was a Christmas lily or maybe, it was an Easter lily but they wrapped the pot in the shiny purple paper for Christmas lol

I just assumed they didn't mention the color as it was easy to see on the photo. They did say it was a dress bc from the photo one could have thought it was a blouse.

Well I've been back through the videos and cannot find anybody saying that the pic was taken Christmas Eve. And on further looking at the picture with the cake, there is a single candle standing in it. So, maybe it was a birthday cake and taken on her birthday. Please accept my apologies as I must have dreamt it.

At one minute 38 seconds the reporter says as the video shows the Kroger picture of her:

"But this is the last image captured of Miller taken from a nearby Kroger surveillance camera just hours before a church member snapped this photograph at the Christmas Eve service."
When the reporter mentioned this photo snapped at the Christmas Eve service, the video now shows a Missing Persons poster of Janet posted on a tree and she is wearing that floral outfit.

It is indeed odd to say "unknown". I can only speculate that the first person who spoke about Sue being missing to msm didn't see her that night, or wasn't sure anymore what color her dress was.
