Pickens deputies have charged Muniz with assault and battery and with child neglect. South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers have charged Muniz with driving under a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions, leaving the scene of an accident where there was an injury, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, and a child restraint violation.
