Quinton Simon Update: Search dogs brought to home as Chatham County investigators analyze evidence

Investigators re-searched the Buckhalter Road home owned by Simon's grandparents, Billie Jo and Thomas Howell, where Simon was reported missing on Oct. 5.

They are taping black plastic to the windows of the home.

Why would they do that?

Sigh, as usual The Sun is *almost* accurate. The mom called to report Quinton missing at either 9:39 or 9:42 according to earlier msm. Mother noticed Quinton missing at 9 am and someone in the house contacted the babysitter at that time.

I'm a little shocked that The Sun is considered MSM.

I think something happened before 6am which is why the bf called to say the babysitter wasnt needed. The babysitter had the kids almost all the time. Even when the adult family members were home. No one would pick up the kids till late and of course they were dropped off early.

If something happened to Quinton prior to BF going to work, then I hope his every move can be traced.

ETA I’m remembering in little Gannono’s case, family continued living in the house. So, who knows.

I don't know if they are there, if they are being interviewed... honestly, I haven't got a clue.
I do know that a home has to be as dark as possible for Luminol to be at it's best.
It seems to me that LE are at a point that they are going to turn everything upside down and inside out in order to get answers.
I really, really hate the idea of Luminol because that would be highly suggestive that the child met a violent end.

Not specific to just you @MassGuy, just jumping off your post to ask if anyone remembers the little boy found in the drainage system of the pool a few years back? I remember LE and divers had searched it 3 X’s and he was never found and then when drained he was. Does anyone remember the little boys name?

Do we know how many cars they have? IE evidently BF must have one to get to work, and probably uncle another one. Does bio Mom have one too? Someone must have seen who if anyone went in and out of the driveway between say 4 am and 9, I'd think.

ITA, was just going to post that it was probably for spraying Lumina and not wanting the press and others to know what's going on inside.

So bio mom was ordered to pay child support to her mother for the 2 boys beginning November 1st. Wow, this isn't going to end well.

Yes! I feel horrible for forgetting his name.
Poor little guy came to mind when I read they were draining the pool at Quinton’s Grandma’s house.

I know there will be stuff going on behind the scenes we are not aware of but Im not seeing a sense of urgency that you would expect in finding a missing baby. The searches seem to have scaled down to specific locations, they don't want/need volunteers searching every bit of the area and it makes me think the worst.

In today's day and age, there must have been some Ring doorbell type cameras in the neighborhood.

I'd look at area cameras any time after the babysitter returned the children the night before. I don't trust LS and her bf DY version of Quinton's last sighting.
