It's so important to find little Quinton quickly. An autopsy will be done to determine cause and manner of death. The longer it takes the less obvious those findings will be.

LE states that Quinton is deceased and at the landfill. They have collected evidence either forensically and/or video, phone pings, etc. I can't imagine how difficult it is for LE not to be able to slap the handcuffs on LS right this minute.

I wouldn't want to be within 100 miles of my daughter if she did something this HORRIBLE to her child. We thought there'd be Tension in the household? Huh--no way, let's just go party together. Flirt with men at the bar. Get drunk and hung over. Be totally blitzed if they have a PC tomorrow announcing my baby/grandbaby was found in a dump.

It's unlikely that any useful answers are possible now whereas at the start they would have saved countless hours and lots of heartbreak from hope destroyed.
I imagine that now LE know exact dumpster, exact location and exact time his tiny battered body was discarded.
They most likely also know exactly how she will plead.

I don't know what her mother knows, a lot, I imagine or how or if she enabled her.

Or how or if she continues to enable her.

I just don''t know, none of us do.

'You'd think they would be quiet but they weren't. It was like they wanted attention.'

'There were around six of them in the group. They were drinking Patron... a top-shelf tequila.

That same day, according to witnesses, the child's mother -- the prime suspect in his disappearance and death -- and grandmother were seen getting drunk just a few miles away on Tybee Island.

The host of a popular bar and restaurant told WJCL they were taking shots and being "very loud" just hours after police announced they believe the child was thrown away like trash.

Quinton vanished on October 5 and police have named his mother, Leilani Howell, as the primary suspect in his death. They have not arrested her, nor will they say how they think she killed him.

This is the same woman who recently filed for $150 a month in child support from her daughter. Why? Was it to help teach L responsibility? Was it to spite L? It appears IMO that she didn't need that extra $$ too desperately. JMO.

The mother and grandmother were spotted again Wednesday at a Tybee Island motel.

Police confirm with WJCL that they were called to the Sandcastle Inn twice over people "exercising their 1st Amendment rights" and shouting towards the hotel.

Police say no arrests were made and no police report was filed.

But a woman who identified herself as Billie Jo, Quinton's grandmother, told officers she would be leaving and would not be back.

We all accept life and death differently. I won't pass judgement on the gma for her actions. She is not a suspect, she is a victim. I don't know anyone who could live in a media fishbowl and not have people criticizing their actions.

As a side note, some people never get over a death, me, I cry in private, not public. But if media follows me constantly, I would probably resort to having a shot to dull the pain. JMO

I felt GMA deserved sympathy for the longest time. While I was repulsed by her fight with the babysitter, I felt she was beyond stressed.
When she was criticized for leaving the kids to work, I gave her a pass because I did not and do not believe she ever thought something bad would happen given the child care.
The police, however, named LS as the one and only suspect. The idea that she would go out drinking with her daughter was more appalling than the actual drinking. That’s when I couldn’t excuse her anymore.
No matter how much a mother loves her daughter, the mother would want that child to face what she’s done.
So I’m angry at GMA. Not because she loves her daughter but because she’s out drinking with her as though that baby wasn’t killed and thrown out.
LS is the probable killer however. The degree of anger at GMA’s lowlife behavior is nothing compared to what is and should be directed at LS.
Lumping them together because of bad example/generational failures is wrong, IMO.
Each is independently responsible for her own failures and LS is so far beyond contempt. JMO.

I only know what it's like to walk in the shoes of a grieving person. I agree that they should not be lumped together. Thanks for your insite.
