I really feel for this jury, most likely they will be asked to see disturbing graphic photos and listen to difficult testimony... I am already feeling sad for them but grateful too, because justice is coming. The courage to do your civic duty as citizens will not be lost. Justice for Quinton <3

We are all here for Quinton, and seeing justice done.

No idea what is on the cards for today, but I'd say at bare minimum, we're getting opening statements from both sides.

Jury instructions happening on things like note taking. One juror was sworn in a little later than the others. That is sorted now.

Maybe I'm a cynic, but it doesn't feel genuine at all, it's like a bad audition. A performance.

This video is hard to watch. Clearly she's emotionally unequipped. For motherhood. For relationships. It's tragic that there wasn't a safety valve in place, for a mother in well over her head, obsessed with her unhealthy relationships. She is broken. If the world were fair, she should have been off somewhere getting help and healthy and off of her addictions to drugs and men, both equally bad for her. Those precious children didn't sign up for her drama, Quinton paying the ultimate unthinkable unfair price. Grown up issues played out on battered babies.

I hope she's growing up, getting clean in every sense, separated as she is from drugs, men (presumably) and responsibility (motherhood), but I can't forget what she did. Quinton didn't get to grow up and heal from the wounds he never should have had.

Whenever I think of Quinton, I think of the stoic LE in their Kevlar white jumpsuits with rakes in the landfill on so many hot days.
Determined.
