LE response was not only rapid but also plentiful. Within an hour even a public information officer was on site as was Marine Patrol in case a water search was indicated.

Many high ranking officers showed, implying an organized search and investigation began in parallel immediately.

Corporal Jensen was also one of the first responding officers.

Corporal Jensen talked to LS, then helped with the search of the house and the woods behind the house. He was released back to regular duty after an hour or so at the scene.

Short cross about his movements and involvement, and he is released.

15min break until 3:30 (4pm with the feed delay).

Feed is live.

Jury returning.

Next witness: Shawn Wilkins.

Currently public safety officer for Bryant University. Former police officer with Chatham county police.

Was a detective with CID at the time.

  • #826
Wilkins was the first detective on scene and conducted early interviews with LS, her brother and DY, and a later interview with LS's brother. Apart from a request for phone data, his role was minimal and of a support nature.

Cross is short, and he is released.

I missed this witness's name, and my groceries just arrived, so I'll be MIA for at least ten minutes. Back soon!

I missed this witnesses name as well but she discovered that the egg donor was driving around late night before Quinton went missing into the morning before she reported it. Her plates and car were photographed on flock cameras in several different locations.

eta the camera name

Okay, I'm back.

I'm guessing this guy is a detective?

They are reviewing Yujean Foster's body cam footage of his interview with her. He says the the Chevron she claims to have gotten the orajel at was closed at that time she claims to have gone to get it. He was there every day for the landfill search as well.

Oh, gosh, he was there for every day of the landfill search from five in the morning to five thirty in the afternoon. Only left for the day when nighttime security uniformed officer turned up. Every day. Coordinated and supplied everything from tools to PPE to food and drink. And a few times, he was the nighttime security duty, too.

I don't care for Mr. Hilliard very much, he has a bad attitude. moo

Foster is done. Handled Hillard's provocation well.

Short break without the jury, to do with scheduling.

We're breaking for the day rather than squeezing in another witness.

So far this seems like a very thorough and organized investigation. I'm impressed. Especially after watching the mishandled Canton, MA trial. JMOO

He probably recognizes that he won’t have any aha! moments during this trial. His little digs in trying to find the cracks aren’t going anywhere.

I’m really impressed with how well the prosecution prepped today’s witnesses. Ms Robbins was very articulate and explained the Flock Camera System and how search warrants are obtained quite eloquently IMO.

I think jurors appreciate straightforward testimony and clear explanations. JMO
