Oh, yeah, BF has spilled the beans. In my opinion.
Exactly. I hope that the perpetrator takes a plea deal. I can see a trial where she tries to throw him under the bus. And ends up walking free. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Do we know a cause of death? It doesn't sound like there was much left for an autopsy.

Who is Cher?
she was featured on court tv as being a friend of the billie family. "Fanily friend Cher". She has a youtube channel. The reporter should have named this "family friend" so we could evaluate the source for credibility. Imo

Who is Cher?
A person who has had crime videos covering some cases.
Not just this one, either.
Motives are not always clear.

Agreed.
And, no access to any 'stimulants' aka alcohol/drugs.
A long time to sober up and think about what she's being charged with ?
I think there will come a time when she can't numb herself with relationships and substances, and then she's going to have to face what she has done.

Chief - Well, you know, I didn't honestly feel a lot of pressure, quite frankly. Only because I believe that our investigative process, the expertise, that we were seeking that was around us, you know, having a little bit of experience, you know, in this profession. I understand.. I understood people's perspective. I understood that, you know, some people had their own strong feelings about when an arrest should be made and things that were going on, but we stayed focus on what we know and what we know how to do and in conjunction with the FBI, we stayed the course. And so, to those folks that supported us, to the citizens that believed in us and believed in our department, I thank you. And for those that had questions, that's their right to do so, this is America, you can have all the opinions you want, but, you know, I'm just so proud of our team and where we're at today. (Chokes up again).

I know this board is all about speculation...but this right here is true in just about every case. We don't know half of what is going on.

That should be posted at the start of every thread! IMO
Edited to add, at the top of each case!

Mods - can someone update the title of this thread now that this little one’s remains have been found? Or are we waiting on test results? Thank you

Breaks my heart… He looks so much like my grandson!!!
I found it on Twitter and I felt an urge to bring him here because here he will receive love and respect.
And prayer..

It's really hard to reconcile how he could have processed his brutal death without a resource in the world at his disposal.
My wish for him is that he can attain healing from the nightmare that was his life and death.

i don't know if this is even remotely possible on any dimension..
I just hope.
no harm sending him love, it probably won't go to waste.

Ultimately this darkness that ''raped' his innocence is a human-created thing.

I think it's bigger than the perp.

And all of that came outa me because I looked deep in his eyes.

And I asked myself what have we become?
Cos we know there are many Quentins everywhere and it appears like we are powerless to protect them.

Are we really?

I feel terrible but I can’t even look at photos of Quentin - he reminds me so much of my 2.5 year old little boy, who I put to bed just a bit ago. I got into his crib with him and held him for a bit, just meditating on how someone could ever possibly even conceive of harming a child, let alone their own precious, breathing, thinking, feeling little being that they CHOSE to bring into this world…only to discard him like the last day’s trash - quite literally. I smelled my sons hair, held his soft, chubby little hand, and whispered a prayer that if Quentin and all the little ones who were never loved before they died could feel love, that I was sending it their way tonight. My heart is so broken for that beautiful little boy.

ETA: Nevermind what I said below, this is the issue with reading backwards. Ignore me.

Ugh…the fact that they could not confirm right away that the remains were human makes me think they only found parts of him…a human skull is pretty obvious. Am I reading this wrong? I truly hope I am…poor baby…I just can’t.

We are still waiting on formal verification of ID through DNA. This may take a few more days. Likely the mods won't change the thread title until LE announces positive ID. They're pretty strict on that.

For example, Somerton Man has been IDed as Charles Webb by Colleen Fitzpatrick herself, and the mods are waiting on formal, confirmatory ID from South Australian Police to change the title. (Which may never happen.)

BJH was asked by a reporter whether she'd had doubts about Leilani's treatment of the children and she said (paraphrased) "...she'd thought about it a thousand times...".
There were red flags.
Many of them.
So much so that BJH was evicting L. and her boyfriend from the residence.
But we can agree to disagree.

We have responded to two calls for service at this home in the last two years. Neither were for a report of a missing child.

M00.
Emphasis mine.

Quoting myself to post the link , where BJH said that regarding her daughter :

“My mind has thought the worst and it’s prayed for the best. You know, I couldn’t imagine that she would hurt one of her kids but I can’t say the thought hasn’t gone through my mind a hundred thousand times,” said Billie Howell, in a phone interview with WTOC News.

She's looking like she's doing a 180 ⁰ now ; but that may simply be self preservation ?

And we don't need to know. Law enforcement can't arrest someone without the DA's approval, and they have to have a warrant signed by the judge as well. No need for the public to know everything until the case goes to court. Frustrating at times but too many cases have been lost because of too many details released to the public beforehand.

I think this team did a great job and deserve a lot of respect. The chief is to be commended for doing his job so well. THAT is great leadership.
