I bet they’re all ready for margaritas.
Who is he?
Are they showing the jurors too or no? just curious since I can’t watch, but I do appreciate all of the documentation!

He is an attorney for the defense. And no the jury isn't shown at all along with some of the witnesses too, not shown.

So sorry @MsMarple I didn't mean to reply to a question directed at you :/

We're back.

They're talking about the FBI trying to get usable footage from the camera over the dumpsters.

They did manage to get some footage, but it was all from months before the crime.

Long day for everyone.

This witness transported Quinton to the Savannah FBI office.

He always looks kinda worried and stressed, though.
I mean, look at his client. After watching her on video I can't imagine having to interact with her about anything she found distasteful. Makes my ears hurt just thinking about it.

Q's remains consisted of four small paper bags :( that is heartbreaking.

I do appreciate that both the defense team seem to take the situation and their role seriously. We haven't seen disrespectful or flippant behaviour from them. And that unfortunately isn't always the case in a trial.

Possibly because the defense doesn't really have any good ways to cross/comeback. imo
IF they had more evidence in her favor, I think Attorney Hilliard would be quite snarky. Glad though as well that it has not happened so far. Seems as if this trial will go quickly.

Cross begins.

One thing I appreciate about Hilliard is he asks questions I expect jurors will be wanting to know the answers to. And he's generally polite about doing it.

I couldn't see DY's route clearly on my screen, either. I could see LS's with the red dot, but not DY.

But even that... The one witness he was really sarcastic with was the second to last from yesterday, and she was every bit as sharp back to him. And I think his approach was not unreasonable with her. It worked, and it didn't feel like it was unwarranted.

I think it's a tool for him, every bit as much as his politeness and his 'explain it to me like I'm five' approaches, and he seems to default to those carrots more than he does the stick.
