GUILTY GA - Quinton Simon - Missing From Home - Mom ARRESTED- Savannah #6

  • #21
Good Morning.
Let's hope this is 'Justice for Quinton' Day!
I'm thinking the jury will reach a verdict today. They won't want to return on Monday imho.

They need first to decompress. They took in a lot. Think of all the thoughts we've had over the course of the trial, they can finally let them out!

Then they have to go through all of the evidence and that could bring them up to lunch time. Then there's paperwork to fill out one they've reached a verdict. Depending on what's for dinner, IMO, they'll render a verdict before or after it. One last meal on the company dime. They've earned it!

Reaching a verdict, that part won't be hard.

ITA. Admittedly, I am in a hurry for justice for Quinton lol (wish I could say and for his family) and also for Michele, Danny, Paul and all of LE and FBI) because this case and this egg donor really, REALLY angered me more than most. Guess I just want to see her face too when she is found guilty of all charges. I want to watch her karmic debt being cashed in ASAP. ~ moo!

eta: she probably won't care one bit if she is found guilty!

Yesterday the jury had time to choose a foreman and blow some steam because they had not been able to discuss anything up to this point. Foreman may have conducted a vote to see where the jury stood, probably read some parts of the instructions again for clarity and then decided to really start today.

Takes forever to get all the paperwork checked and signed.

Sounds like juror number five is the foreperson.

She's informed about the time lunch will be arriving and returns to the jury room.

Judge is having it delivered so as not to stop the jury work flow during lunch.. nice!

So, question for you all. The one part of this trial I am worried about is during the instructions when the judge was speficying what exactly constitutes murder (I think she said several times that it has to be intentional), versus whether or not this was an accident. I don't remember all of the details, but if there isn't proof she did this on purpose (which I HATE to admit, there may not be), what do you think the verdict will be? Second question. I don't remember hearing about the vomit in the room before- a strong smell of vomit (noted by detectives), and vomit on his pillowcase and in the pack-and-play. What do you all think happened there?

My thoughts was she did SOMEthing to him that caused a concussion and... I don't want to think about details after that. :(

Yeah, they did the same thing with us during the trial I served on. Similar schedule, we started deliberating late in the day, and then came back the next morning to start again. I didn't understand how anyone could even be hungry. let alone eat, because we had this big pile of really gruesome photos in the center of the table and people were ordering roast beef sandwiches and all. Gross. I remember ordering egg salad because it didn't contain anything resembling what we were looking at (insert barf emoji).
