Well, they started with 28 indicted. On day 1 of jury selection (01/03/23), there were 21 defendants. Nine took plea deals, and 12 were severed for various reasons.

To clarify, they let our photog in to setup and turn on and then made him leave. No media is currently in the courtroom. Judge is talking with attorneys. Someone - likely the bailiff - turned our camera off and now we only have black.

Judge Whitaker was meeting in the courtroom with the attorneys and now word came out that they were done for the day. The drama continues.

Jury is being told to come back Tuesday. Monday will be a court day with motions and evidence arguments.Things can always change, of course, but that’s an indication we are going to keep going. Super curious how the two Quas are going to handle the pending mistrial motions.
