New: Fulton County prosecutors have filed a motion specially setting the case against the five remaining defendants in the #ysl indictment. They intent to start trial on February 24, 2025.




The remaining defendants are Christian Eppinger, Miles Farley, Damekion Garlington, Demise McMullen and Tenquarius Mender.

Lawyer for Miles Farley aka Slato has filed a "Plea In Bar and Motion To Dismiss" based off of statutory and constitutional speedy trial arguments.

The argument is as follows:

- They filed a timely demand for speedy trial in November 2022

- They were taken to trial in January 2023 in compliance with the speedy trial demand.

- After his lawyer, Mr. Manettas, was (WRONGLY) arrested, Glanville made the decision to sever Slato. The State did not object, and Manettas had no chance to object to the severance because he wasn't even present.

- He has been trying to go to trial this whole time but the State decided to wait until the first trial was over to try him, over 2 years later, violating the right to a Speedy Trial based off his demand.

- He will file a follow up brief to support this motion in the near future

Tuesday, Dec. 17:

9am: Yak Gotti in court before Judge McBurney for a bond hearing on a charge he picked up while in jail. We will have the live stream. 9:30am - The remaining #YSL defendants in court for final plea hearing in front of Judge Whitaker - we will have a camera/live stream.

9:30am - Shannon Stillwell Jackson has a final plea/status hearing in front of Judge Belinda Edwards on charges he picked up while in jail. We are working with local media to see if someone can pick that hearing up with a live stream as it's at the same time as the remaining defendants but in a different courtroom.

- Farley's attorney tells the judge. He said he doesn't want to go to trial and is entering an Alford plea to the RICO count. No jail time for the plea.

The results of today's #ysltrial hearings: Shannon Stillwell Jackson sentenced to time served in unrelated cases and will be released today.

Deamonte Kendrick aka Yak Gotti still in jail pending judge's ruling on bond in unrelated case.

Miles Farley took a deal and will not go to trial, no jail time.

There are four YSL co-defendants remaining to stand trial in Feb. 2025: Christian Eppinger, Damekion Garlington, Demise McMullen and Tenquarius Mender.

Well it all changed really quick and nothings happening today anymore, even tho Harvey and Westmoreland were in court. Don’t really understand why nothing happened. Harvey objected to cameras too.Yak might have to wait til February again. We were all given false hope, sorry!
