VERDICT WATCHGA - Rapper Young + others indicted on RICO & other charges, May 2022. Trial ongoing April 2023, interruptions, lawyer arrested. Fulton County. #2
Yesterday, the State finally started presenting evidence related to the only other murder charged in this case, a 2022 murder charged to Shannon. The evidence is largely circumstantial. State has indicated they expect to finish their case within 2 weeks.

Hogan was a long witness. The state had another witness ready to go but it would have taken more than an hour, so Whitaker decided to dismiss jurors until next week.
No court Thursday, Friday or Monday for jurors. Motions hearing on Friday.
No #ysltrial today. Parties are back tomorrow without the jury to discuss outstanding issues. No court on Monday due to Veteran's Day. Jury back Tuesday.
Schardt: .... it seems to me there's a potential that the State is going to try to throw a bunch of stuff out there..Judge Whitaker: I think that's what the State's been doing this whole trial.
There is no court today since it's Veterans Day.Like Deputy DA Hylton said last week, it appears prosecutors are entering the end of the presentation of their case, as there are less than 25 witnesses they expected to call in the coming days.
They still plan to call Investigator Viverito and fmr co-defendant Antonio Sumlin. It doesn't appear they are going to call Lil Wayne, Birdman, YFN Lucci or Martinez Arnold to the stand anymore. Some of them were part of the state's original witness list.
I’ll be a little behind this morning since I have an appointment but Judge Whitaker asked the state if they still plan to call former co-defendant Martinez Arnold and Deputy DA Hylton said they did not. They have about 22 witnesses in their witness list this week.
The state's first witness was APD Crime Scene Technician Hollis Brown, she was followed by Former APD Homicide Detective and FBI Task Force member Kevin Leonpacher.
Brown testified about pictures she took of a homicide.Leonpacher is testifying mostly about mobile cellphone data from Shannon Stillwell and helping other investigators including Inv. Viverito.
