Steel: In Jeffery's neighborhood, rap is a subset of hip hop, gangster rap is a subset of rap. Jeffery sought out how to accomplish his mission of being a successful rapper. We've heard a lot about Kenneth Copeland in Schardt's opening yesterday and Steel's opening today. He's listed in court documents as "K.C". Prosecutors consider him a key witness that will testify. His police interrogation was leaked earlier this year. Prosecutors tried to protect his identity, but it's in front of the jury now. #YSL #YoungThug

Steel now talking about YFN Lucci's mom's house getting shot up....his mother was also shot. Prosecutors say this was done by #YSL. YFN Lucci and others are also indicted in a different RICO case. They've been sitting in jail longer than YSL but state opted to try YSL first.

on day two of opening statements in the YSL RICO trial, Young 's primary lawyer Brian Steel came right out of the gate swinging at the "liars" who will presumably testify against & others.worth noting that this strategy worked at least once for John Gotti...
