I watched yesterday and most of today (have about an hour left taped).

One thing, I am completely annoyed by IS' coverage of this. Why can't they just play it in its entirety (with breaks of course for their brilliant commentary and commercials)? They keep going back and playing parts we've heard 10x now and then breaking it and going to another part.

I find AS' manner just odd. When she smiles (like when she talked about RS' early jobs and their wonderful marriage), it is so fake and contrived. The emotion in her eyes does not match the upward turn of her mouth. And to say that she and Rusty were put on this earth (or whatever she said) to help people. Oh brother. Get over yourself, woman. And to say she and Rusty never fought - they would talk everything out. Well right there, that's a lie. Any couple who says they NEVER fight is lying. Impossible. Especially with small kids. Even the best of marriages must have some random conflict.

I really think the fact she left her child at the daycare should speak volumes to the new jury. I get the fact she wouldn't want the kid at the hospital - totally understand. But you would get a neighbor, friend, or relative to take him home. I'd probably take the oldest child out of school as well. Some random stranger just killed your husband. Maybe it's a family hit? Don't you want the kids home or some other safe place to be sure they are not next? Well, not if you know the killer and know the kids will be safe. I hadn't heard that part before this morning and it was an Ahha moment for me.

I've traveled quite a bit and have NEVER had adjoining hotel rooms with coworkers, bosses, or even friends. I would only consider if it I had older kids.

Seems like even though AS and RS stayed home eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (because they were so committed to saving their money), she really liked to use GE's dime for nice lunches, dinners, and drinks. Expense accounts are so padded with wasteful spending it's ridiculous.

Shayna knew Andrea had told her around 930am and before she'd even got to the daycare center. Shayna and her lawyer called the DA after Andrea's first or 2nd day of testimony and asked that she be allowed to testify. THAT is how she got on the stand.

Some of these details are new to me. I didn't know that Shayna had asked to testify. That really says a lot. Andrea is pure evil. Hemy too.

RIP Rusty, you did not deserve what these evil people did to you.

The way she answers the first question is so telling.

Wow, her testimony is so telling. Some takeaways I had................first, when she says she got a call from the daycare and they said she needed to come there, there had been an accident. She says she can't remember if they said anything about Rusty, but they said Ian was OK. But she presumes something is wrong with Rusty. So she gets into her vehicle (why does she always call it a vehicle, don't most people just call it a car?) and then makes a series of phone calls, to Rusty's parents, to Hemy, to her parents. This does not make sense to me. If I put myself in her shoes and I am thinking something has happened to my husband but I don't know what, I would NOT call my husband's parents until I knew what was wrong. For all I know, he has fallen and broken an arm or something, I certainly wouldn't jump to thinking it was catastrophic. I would not want to worry his parents until I knew what we were dealing with. Also, if I did pick up from the initial phone call that it might be something really bad, I probably would be so rattled that someone would need to drive me.

Anyway, just my random observations.......

Another thing about her "vehicle" story. She said when she pulled up to the daycare, she saw the police tape and "fell out" of her vehicle. Seriously? She probably did, but it was an act. Who falls out of their car in distress? At that point, she doesn't even know what happened. He could have been hit by a car in the parking lot and broke his ankle. But of course, she never bothered to call him. And how defiant and obnoxious she was when that was pointed out to her.

Everything about her story smells rotten. I was struck by so many small things in her testimony, like when she said she called Rusty's dad on her way to the daycare, and she said she was belligerent with him on the phone. What's up with that? Belligerent means aggressive, argumentative, how does that fit into the context of the phone call she was making? And don't even get me started on the dancing scenario she is asking people to believe. That's the most ridiculous story I ever heard. I think what strikes me most of all is how stupid she is. You'd think she would have done a better job of covering her tracks than she did if she was intent on having her husband murdered.

I'm impressed iwth her stupidity too. She doesn't seem very smart for someone who had the kind of job she did. Her attitude is that of a rich, spoiled princess and how dare anyone question her

How dare you question the dancing. She is a trained dancer! She has been dancing since she was 5 years old. :floorlaugh:

  • Are easily hurt but might not show it

Haven't finished today's testimony yet, but LOVED when she stopped the defense attorney and requested from the judge she be referred to as MRS. Sneiderman. I love it!
