IS keeps saying that they are going to play HN's trial after DP's is over. I swear I watched a lot of HN's trial on IS...am I nuts??? lol Maybe I watched it online.....

Anyway, Andrea is a NUT. I'm sure she totally believes that she will not be convicted of anything.

I wonder who is taking care of the kids???

By trying HM first the prosecutor were able to put AS on the stand...once on the stand she did what they hoped she would do....lied and lied, and made herself totally unlikable to the jury. Even if she doesn't take the stand in her own trial, they can play the tape of her on the stand....that should do it!
I heard that the date set for the hearing on the bond is Aug 21st....
I don't know how our AS will make it that long in the lockup.
I went by there today and I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to see what was happening to the drama queen!

BBM: I can't remember for sure, but I do believed they carried the trial. I recall following another trial at the same time on-line and catching bits and pieces of Hemy's trial at InSession. The trial I was watching ended first, and I know I followed a good bit of it.

Boy, is my memory bad! I guess it was from following two trials at once. Bonus to the one who can remind me what the other trial was! Was it Tammi Smith??? :waitasec:

I wonder if they will do something like that in the Jane Bashara case that I am following here at WS? If so, they could put Bob Bashara on the stand during the Getz trial, (the mentally challenged person he alledgedly hired to kill his wife) but I wonder if they will do that versus letting Getz plead out for his testimony. That one is going to be a very interesting trial indeed as Bob was recently arrested for hiring a hit man to kill Getz!...but has not even been charged in the murder of his wife Jane!

Sneiderman attorney likely to seek change of venue; in-laws file for custody of widow's children

Meanwhile, Rusty Sneiderman's parents filed a motion in Fulton County Superior Court on Friday seeking emergency custody of their two grandchildren, ages 6 and 3. Esther Panitch, a lawyer who on Friday took over representation for Rusty Sneiderman's parents, brother and sister-in-law in the custody and visitation case, declined to comment.

Defense co-counsel Doug Chalmers said a response to the in-laws' motion will be filed early next week and "it will speak for itself."

Esther Panitch was Ariela Neuman's attorney. From what I have read, she is a very good one too.

'

I am floored that more of previous posters are not here yet! Guess they are not local?

Can we all post threads from MSM so thers that come in late can catch up

Been on vacation! Just found this GREAT news and still catching up on the details. There can never be true justice for Rusty, even with HN and his evil strumpet in prison for life, but this is a darned good piece of action.

I'm wishing Rusty's family success in regaining their grandchildren and HN's exwife and children smooth sailing ahead also. These two horrible excuses for humankind have not only ended a life but traumatized so many along the way. Peace be to all the victims.

http://www.ajc.com/news/dekalb/andrea-sneiderman-in-laws-1492256.html

"Rusty Sneiderman's parents, in a court motion seeking emergency custody of their two grandchildren, allege the maternal grandparents obstructed law enforcement and tampered with evidence in order to cover up their daughter's affair with convicted killer Hemy Neuman.

[snipped]

The couple's children now live with Andrea Sneiderman's parents, Herb and Bonita Greenberg.

"It is in the best interest of the children to be immediately removed from their current residence with their maternal grandparents," states the motion filed Friday. It cites the "ethically questionable conduct" of the Greenbergs and their son, Todd Greenberg.

I am surprised she hasn't put all this property asset in family member's name

Well, at least she can't claim she's indigent! I'm also wondering if her assets have been frozen due to the RICO charges.

Attorney seeks jailhouse deposition of Andrea Sneiderman

~snip~

Sneiderman's lawyers have requested that Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane grant a continuance until after her bond hearing scheduled for Aug. 21. The 36-year-old mother of two is "focused on the charges made against her," according to the motion, which further states her incarceration has "limited their ability to effectively prepare for the deposition."

Panitch also filed a motion requesting that Lane order Andrea Sneiderman's parents to facilitate weekly Internet phone conversations that had been taking place between Rusty's parents and the late entrepreneur's two children, ages 7 and 3. Doug Chalmers, a member of Andrea Sneiderman's defense team, had sent an e-mail to Panitch stating there would be no contact via Skype "at least until the bond hearing. We will revisit the issue at that time."

Next Week on "In Session" the first four hour each day will be devoted to coverage of the Georgia vs Hemy Neuman trial.
I watch it live when it happened on another network but plan to try to catch some of it next week, especially Andrea on the stand..what a hoot!

Looks like my prediction that the State would try and freeze her assets! :floorlaugh:

Prosecutors file suit to freeze Andrea Sneiderman's funds

~snip~

The DeKalb County District Attorney's Office filed a civil lawsuit on Friday, intending to cut Sneiderman off from her fortune. Court documents state that four of Sneiderman's bank accounts total $2.3 million.

The civil lawsuit argues that since Sneiderman is charged with helping plan her husband, rusty's murder, she should not be able to the millions that his death brought her.

I will not be able to watch Hemy's trial next week on IS...but I truly would like to see the testimony of AS. Those who watch and may know when AS will be taking the stand...could you please post on this thread. Then I will record that day. Her trial is one I don't want to miss, but I never did see her on the stand in Hemy's and have heard it is a great watch. Thanks everyone!

I find it curious that during the first trial and even now, not one friend or family member (who I am aware of anyways) came forward to say Andrea could not/would not have done this - she's a great person, wife, mother, anything. I know I read initially that she had imposed a gag order on her friends (or something like that) but still. Not once has a positive word been said about her that I've seen.

I'm looking for it. I have read bits of transcripts. The little I have seen was pretty damning. When they were about to impeach some testimony of hers they had her step down so they could call another witness, then reserve the right to recall her, she had a FIT because she had to leave and would not be able to hear the testimony of the co-worker (who would testify to the affair). Also at one point as the defense referred to her as "Ms. Sneiderman" she snapped "Can you call me MRS. Sneiderman? Is there some rule against THAT??". I read she had snide remarks quite a bit on the stand.
