His job more important than mine? Was it a competition?

I agree. And why is the defense wanting these tapes of her LE interviews played - another 3.5 hours?! UGH - these interviews do nothing to help her. It's very concerning that she isn't at all broken by the tragedy that has just happened. Plus, we are seeing her obstructing the trail to Hemy. The woman loves to hear her voice, for sure. I just don't get why the defense is wanting this played out for the jury.

:floorlaugh:

BBM:

The jury is so bored (me too) and will surely convict her and ask for an inditement of her defense team as well!!!

Let the annoying defense team keep it up. Everyone will hate them!

P.S. I am just half joking!

I know AS isn't by a long shot, but I think she should be embarrassed by this video and the way she's yammered on and on about NOTHING during an interview to find her husband's killer. Omg, now she is fake crying. Oops, she has quickly recovered and doesn't need a break! And....she's talking again. Sigh....how much longer until the 3 and a half hours is over?!

WOW. those tears go on and off like a faucet!

Morning all :seeya:

So I came in to this trial fresh (not too much media exposure) and wasn't quite sure what to think after opening statements.

After seeing about 1/4 of the testimony so far, I can say that it seems very apparent that she lied to police. As much as people are not happy about the murder charges being dropped for the time being, I think that was 100% the right move. This seems like a slam dunk case for perjury right now.

I thought I would be more excited about this trial but the fact that I have fallen asleep every night while trying to catch up on this week's testimony is not a good sign. Although I do really want to see the tapes of AS that they are playing today so I will be making a stop at Starbucks on my way home later :)

Fishing around for my next trial to watch.. feel free to shout out any suggestions if you have some.

The commentators mentioned that when they first came on. On the audio we heard yesterday, Andrea's mom made comment that she was aware of the "relationship" and that if not brought up during the trial, the prosecution will sure bring it up at closing.

They are the ones that reminded me of the statement. I couldn't not find anything about the prosecution's witness list other than HN was not on it. It would seem that both of AS's parents and her brother would be on the list.

Guess we will have to wait.

Not sure the prosecution can say anything about this at closing if it is not brought up in trial.

And PS. ....the detective did leave AS go on and on....he needed to tighten the scope of this interview and direct the questioning in a more specific manner. Hope he learned some techniques since this interview.

I totally agree, and don't think these recordings are doing her one bit of good. :twocents:

I'm trying to follow the Ft. Hood shooter trial. Very bizarre. It isn't live streamed anywhere, so I can only follow news reports and twitter.

Anxious for the Arias Penalty phase to start up again.

WOW. those tears go on and off like a faucet!

Interesting that AS goes on and on for hours in this interview then she and her family fight a search of the home....in fact they meet the police outside as a unit until they have no choice because of a warrant.

She seems to be trying to make "friends" with the detective. Maybe that way he couldn't possibly suspect such a "nice person"!

she is checking her phone RIGHT NOW. why don't they take it?

Hey Andrea - I can tell you why that couple didn't come back to your table after dinner and you never saw them again the entire cruise. Probably jumped.

I'm SO curious of the intentions of the Defense Team showing all this? I don't get it.

This is ridiculous -- I was hoping to see her former friend, Shayna Citron, on the stand.

The detective does not believe she is a suspect. He is being very social with her. Even if he took her phone he has no idea who the numbers belong to and what their relationship to each other are. Plus I'm sure she has already deleted anything connecting her to Hemi. Clearly he does not suspect Hemi at this point because it would have been his first question.

I can't believe she is giving information on people they met on the cruise when she obviously knows who killed Rusty. jmo

Showing the jury how open AS was and had nothing to hide. What I hope they see is how casual she is, how much detail she gives about unimportant things but avoids talking about HN!!!!
