This is ridiculous -- I was hoping to see her former friend, Shayna Citron, on the stand.

Patience, my friend. This is just the cross examination of the lead detective; the prosecution is still presenting its case in chief and Shayna will be definitely be called. We just have to slog through this detritus first. :seeya:

I'm SO curious of the intentions of the Defense Team showing all this? I don't get it.

:dunno: Maybe they think it shows how cooperative she was? :dunno:

The detective does not believe she is a suspect. He is being very social with her. Even if he took her phone he has no idea who the numbers belong to and what their relationship to each other are. Plus I'm sure she has already deleted anything connecting her to Hemi. Clearly he does not suspect Hemi at this point because it would have been his first question.

I can't believe she is giving information on people they met on the cruise when she obviously knows who killed Rusty. jmo

I'm not so sure LE did not kind of suspect AS of involment after that interview at her house. That certainly would be an angle LE always looks at. Her demeanor should raise a red flag to even a new detective.

Remember how Flores let JA ramble on and on? Well, he gave her enough rope to hang herself.

This is so boring that the guy with braided gray hair that just walked in front do the camera was a high point! can't you just see everyone's face if someone clapped real loud?
what,what what...........

Did anybody else just hear how she called Rusty cheap on the cruise, and gave an example using the meals they took (I couldn't make out the exact words, but got the gist)? Who does that just days after your husband is shot down in cold blood? Really, she is dripping with hostility towards Rusty and it comes out in her little snide passive aggressive remarks. I'm really believing she wanted him dead. More than I believed it before this trial. And I have the defense team to thank for that!! JMO

She tightened right up about that search warrant.

Yes, SheltieMom1, I know what you mean!

Does anyone know, did AS go back to work at GE after Rusty died? I'm curious as to what the contact and relationship was between AS and HN before he was arrested. I assume after he was arrested all contact stopped.

Consent to search different from a search order. SO - no choice.....signed by judge
consent tosearchmay be ended by AS at any time. I think this clears up the confusion in court yesterday when the investigator was on the stand.

How does Justin Bieber get into this case???

Poor jurors. They want a break. Haha

so we do NOT know the date of this interview?

Listen to that reporter's and that lawyer's comments! They've been reading this thread! It's exactly what we've been saying! Lol.

  • #574
I wonder why it is she didn't want them to search, what was she hiding?

  • #575
Jurors are probably asking the judge to make it stop.

Not sure he was a new detective only that this was his first homicide investigation. It's possible that town does not have a lot of homicides. My sense is he does not suspect her or he would not let her go on and on as he is doing. He still is thinking of her as a victim and letting her vent out after such a tragic loss of her husband. In the process he really is getting a sense of who she is and what is most important to her in her life. jmo

so we do NOT know the date of this interview?

All I know is that this interview was after the one at AS house that we listened to yesterday.

WAT commentators discussing AS's demeanor during this interview compared with collapsing only a few days earlier! Saying . she sure got over it quickly. jurors HAVE up on this no matter how cooperative she seems. Yes AS signed the consent to search, but thenrenigged when they came to her door. So there goes the cooperation of signing the consent.
Questioning the defense tactic as well.
