Heading out to buy5 hour energy shots for everyone....we will need this this afternoon!

The judge should give the jurors a 6 pack at start of court every day!:banghead:

A comment was made earlier today that the Dunwoody Police Department was something like only 2 years old. It's possible this was their first big case/murder...

Off topic a little - though not sure what AS is chatting on about endlessly here, anyway...
But did I hear correctly yesterday that the detective said Rusty's wallet was never found (I think Det. called it a 'great mystery")? I know it's a small point, given the horrible circumstances, but struck me as odd that he would drive around without some sort of ID, or at least his license - Did I miss something there?
Granted, Rusty could have been rushing to get the kids to school, and forgot it - but wouldn't it have been in the house?
Can't imagine any reason for AS to do something with it - lots of other people there before her, and it would seem silly afterward(if she found it later, and wanted something gone, she could have removed whatever she wanted - IMO).

I apologize if this was already addressed - buy did that seem odd to anyone else? TIA, if anyone knows.

Not sure he was a new detective only that this was his first homicide investigation. It's possible that town does not have a lot of homicides. My sense is he does not suspect her or he would not let her go on and on as he is doing. He still is thinking of her as a victim and letting her vent out after such a tragic loss of her husband. In the process he really is getting a sense of who she is and what is most important to her in her life. jmo

It is just that I know LE, Lambchop. My late husband was retired LE and I was a deputy for 10 years. There were a lot of red flags in that interview with AS and the families at her house. We listened to that one yesterday. The idea that AS may have been involved would have entered their heads the very first day, IMO.

What I see this detective doing is getting AS all comfortable talking about herself, IMO. People like AS love to talk about themselves. He is building trust with her. I would feel safe saying that the idea AS may have been involved probably came up the first day even.

I just respectfully see this a different way..................................:blowkiss:

I don't believe the wallet was ever found. I was speculating that maybe he dropped it outside the daycare and Hemy pick it up and took it to make it look like a robbery OR maybe demanded the wallet from RS.
Never came out in HN trial though.

Dunwoody is a beautiful, old-money, very safe suburb of Atlanta. I do believe that is why this case has been so highly publicized and garnered so much interest locally. Stuff like this just doesn't happen there. IMO

My husband was as well. He was a Detective in GID (General Investigative Dept.) and investigated a lot of homicides in a large city. I agree there were red flags at her home but at that time it was not clear there was anything involving the family. It was the day after Rusty's death and not all people react the same when they grieve so when they look back I'm sure they realized this was something that should have alerted them. This interview, however, is very telling....isn't it??? :floorlaugh:

Thanks, JJ! I agree, it doesn't seem important - just odd. Not sure why they brought up the missing wallet in court.

Orrrrrr. Someone wanted LE to think the motive was robbery and somehow the wallet disappeared. That is why the detective is saying "big mystery". jmo

No wonder Hemy went insane. Can you imagine sitting next to her on an airplane?

Thank you for the much needed guffaw in the midst of this pathetic display by Andrea.

She goes on and on and tosses so many names out and so many details......and it is her boss, the guy she gets adjoining hotel rooms with, the guy she is wined and dined by who has shot and killed her husband.

Please let the jury see why these charges have been brought against this woman.

She is in the same category as CIndy Anthony and charges should have been brought against her. IMO

So now we know that this took place after the funeral at least. she thought it was odd one person didn't come? I couldn't tell you one person at my Dad's funeral. Didn't talke a roll call. I think it's odd she even noticed someone wasn't there that was on the perform of their life.

In a plane over the Atlantic enroute to London with no place to go except to pull a 'D. B. Cooper'?
