I thought I must be getting my trips confused. Why discount only ONE part of the evidence they weretogether when the rest remains?

Agreed, as someone said earlier, it seems, I think, that the defense is definitely desparetely reaching --

So the AS and RS were a happy couple and then AS went to work and GE, met HN, and then AS and RS were not a happy couple. Things changed and the jury is just supposed to disregard this information per this defense.

It seems to me that the nanny is not a very observant person if she never noticed Andrea laughing, smiling and carrying on when she was doing the interview with LE on the 19th, the day after Rusty was killed.

There is a lady on WAT right now that says the jury is very expressive during testimony....wish we could see them!

Lady also said defense had a witness list that was 6 pages long, oh boy!

She says from the courtroom the last few witnesses seemed genuine on the stand......

Yes, JJ, "desperate" is the right word here -- I am getting flashbacks to the Arias trial -- the defendant's fan club is very, very small in both cases -- that's what comes of a person who is so blatantly and forsaking-all-others self-involved and who doesn't mind just rolling over anyone in her path to what she wants to do or be. (Sometimes, happily, it doesn't always work

And the defense attorneys, like poor Nurmi and his co-counsel, are defending a pile of poop and trying to make it look and smell good. I think Nurmi did the best he or most anyone could have, and I think this prolly terrifically expensive team are trying to do the same. That's part of the reason, IMO, they are so expensive to engage -- they're supposed to be uber-magicians. Just how good will their magic wands be?

Ya. If they keep this clueless def attorney on,I'm going to quit listening. This gal is the one tweeting,and she's a lot more up to speed than the def guy.

The jury should disregard both of the nannies' testimony for the reason that of course they would be "happy" because Rusty didn't have any idea of the affiar!! So Rusty had no reason to be unhappy...he didn't know of the reality of the situation. And Andrea is obviously a good actress and didn't show him her dissatisfaction with the marriage....or perhaps she even enjoyed having two lovers...that is if she still had sex with Rusty, who knows...we don't know the details of their relationship. But whatever it was, obviously Andrea didn't change her behavior towards him, so why would he act differently?? In fact...he and Andrea's relationship had maybe gotten better in sexual terms...not to get too graphic, but maybe Andrea was turned on by her secret affair and being "bad," and this translated to being "naughty" at home, too, if you know what I mean.

That would be a big mistake and it would also provide all on-lookers with some afternoon comedy, IMO. We'll see....

Ithink Clegg read some of the tweets from yesterday about AS hiring this rabbi to be her PR guy in the media rather than the performing the typical rabbi job. Clegg tried to combat that,but failed IMO.
That poor guy was first used by AS,then by the def.

It makes me wonder why the "new" Rabbi? Did the family have a regular Rabbi? Did the regular Rabbi know too much about the family (Andrea and Rusty) to bring into this part of the "show"? It just makes me wonder and I am not getting anywhere in my wondering but it brings up thoughts that I hope the jury also thinks about!

Oldest defense trick in the book - hope this converts or confuses one or more member of the jury to believe this witness and hang the jury.

Hmmmm, yep, I guess that's all a d.team can hope for in some of these obviously hopeless defense cases. And IMO, if it does hang, I don't think we would see a re-trial... A win for the d.t. dragged in the back door. Tape some lace on it & call it a victory.

They DID have a regular Rabbi. that's why this guy coming in when he did is so fishy. Have to agree with your speculation.
