Haha. so,they weren't together at the party, so they got along fine.

If you were having an affair hidden from your husband, and were planning his death, would you show displeasure with him around others?
Did Andrea share the problems in her marriage with Hemy, and other friends?

As far as I can remember, there was Shayna, who the defense is working hard to impeach her testimony.

There were e-mails to Hemy about the tension in the marriage. Hemy even gave her advice. The working and Rusty's inability to care for the children while setting up his new business were part of it.

I'm so glad there is no wasting of time on cross examination. It shows what weight the prosecution puts on these people's testimony.

Good Afternoon WS Friends!
Has AS decided about testifying yet?

  • #564
Good move by the prosecution not cross examining these character witnesses.

  • #565
No cross again.

Next witness Ben Nadler. Another friend. Met at Synagogue.

They have so many lawyers, they don't all fit at the bench! sheesh...

I'm waiting for the check-out lady who always waited on the Sneiderman's as they checked out at WalMart.

they should ask all these wits who knew Rusty and Andrea so well,,if she told the she was having an affair with her boss?

  • #570
hmm...sounds like at this point she was already planning the murder...talking about husband in such "glowing" terms and with such "pride"....sounds like she was setting the scene....

Oh, GMAB!

ETA: I mean GMAB about all these witnesses who just cannot say enough about AS. It is clear to me they never really knew the kind of person she really is.

haha -- sparkle in her eye when she was talking about Rusty -- dig at Shayna? These defense witnesses all look like they are auditioning for a happy, go lucky character in a play --

Ben Nadler "naow. naow. naow. naow".

Was I just watching Saturday Night Live?

  • #574
 "While her eyes were sparkling did she tell you about her affair with her boss?"

It seems Mr. Nadler was a mere acquaintance and not a friend.

I'm saying! They all have this odd, glib, pressured demeanor. I think the prosecutor just proved that Ben Nadler has been watching the trial or at least exposed to other witness's testimony with that sparkle business. oops!

This witness reminds me of Brad Cooper.

  • #579
He's certainly trying to read the jury....

I think it was today's lawyer on the voice-over that said it best: Quantity over Quality! Yes, BJ Pak!

The jury has to be bored to tears with this palaver. Nadler was the nadir of all of this.
