I agree. Her lies were pretty clear to me when I watched that tape and then listened to her current testimony.

I don't agree with the jurors having to watch it in open court with the lawyers and defendant. They should have the ability to review evidence and discuss it privately... what if a juror wanted to point something specific out to their co-jurors... can't do that with everyone watching.

I'm still seeing the seal on WSBTV... should I try another link?

I agree....I'm sure the lawyers have some reason for wanting them to watch in court...but I'm with you...I would want the ability to PAUSE, discuss, maybe REWIND if I missed something, etc.. In open court, they just play it once, maybe you miss one thing, and then if you wanna re-watch that part, you have to go through whole process of writing note, giving to judge, coming into courtroom, playing video, maybe given blah blah admonishments again for 10 minutes, then going back to jury room, etc., etc..

A little confused here. They sent the "videos" back to the jury room, correct? So then the jury asks for a DVD player on which to watch these "videos" and the judge denies that request? So if the jury wants to watch and discuss they just hold one of the "videos" up to their foreheads and make up a story about what is on it? How strange, why even send them back to the jury room if the jury has no way to watch them!

Lolol at your post!!! They can be like Carnac the Magnificent holding the DVDs to their foreheads! Lol!!

I did a little hunting around to get the information the jury wanted:

Link to pertinent testimony by Bonita Greenberg:

Andrea Sneiderman Trial - Day 5 - Part 3 - YouTube

Begin at 33:00 and listen for a few minutes as she tells how Andrea read the contents to her. She says Andrea wanted to call the police, but Mom was afraid for their safety, etc., etc., etc.

Andrea Sneiderman Trial - Day 9 - Part 6 (Prosecution Closing) - YouTube

Clip shown at trial during closings at 52:12. Mom sure forgot a lot!

BBM

Or shall we say she remembered a lot. In her deposition she very clearly states that Andrea did not say what the content of the email was. And when they discussed if Andrea was in fear, she said no.

Now at trial last week, all of a sudden her mom says that Andrea did read the email to them while they were in Florida, she didn't remember the entire content, but proceeds to state the parts that she does remember. And then they go in to a discussion about how she (the mom) advised Andrea that it would not be safe to call the police... maybe Hemy has hacked in to her computer, he is in Florida, he might come after them... etc etc

Seems to me that they have had a good amount of time to craft this story to explain away why Andrea neglected to tell the police about that email.

If I were on that jury, I sure as heck would be asking WHY?

This TH def atorney has on a puffy, winter-like coat! What is the weather there?
It's usually warm, right?

ETA: If I would just wait a second, instead of saying the first thing that pops into my head, I'd ask fewer dumb questions.
It's a fall-like blustery day for those who care to know. :blushing:

Usually is. However, this summer (year) has been bad. My sister complained shes dressed in jeans and long tee shirt. Its been warmer and dryer in Seattle :seeya:

AS's mom didn't know nutin. She had a bad memory, I'm sure at the behest of her attorneys. Then when she did answer, she lied! I like that they asked for that.

It also was very strange how AS's mother had a melt down with AS's attorney.

AS's mother was inconsistent in her testimony this time and she is not an old frail woman she portrayed herself to be the second time around.

Loved it when the judge called her out and asked her what her profession was (I think it was him) and then called her Dr. Greenburg.

Don't think the jury was fooled. :twocents:

I'm in SC, a few hours from Atlanta. It was 63 when I came to work this morning, and the high today is 70. Slightly raining and breezy. It is like a typical fall day here, maybe late Oct or Nov. It's usually in the high 90's and so much humidity you can't breathe in Aug.

Man, this global warming is killing us.

The local reporters are back! Those coats are just silly... even if there's a chill in the air, they are dressed like it's 35 degrees.

It is 70 right now in AL. It is suppose to be 100 this time of year.
This summer has been crazy, just a few hot days.

I watched some of AS's videos on youtube yesterday. I did not watch Mom on the stand. Do I need to go watch it?

Scroll up and check out post #119 by CarolinaMoon... she did a nice job pointing out where to see the inconsistencies in the mom's statements. I think it's worth watching.

I have to imagine that somebody will bring that up and discuss it. When I'm trying to figure out where something leads, I follow it completely down the path. As some of you know, initially I completely gave her the benefit of the doubt in thinking that she was just trying to cover up the affair out of embarrassment. But as the trial unfolded and I really started picking apart the pieces of the testimony, this is where my thoughts lead me...

Did Andrea have an affair... IMO, yes, I believe there is substantial evidence to support that their relationship was much more than friendship.

So then why did she work so hard to cover it up; was it just out of embarrassment? I could see her feeling this way for the first few days... maybe slightly longer...

But as soon as the cops starting digging in to her phone, computer, other media, travel records etc AND started confronting her with very direct and serious statements about the importance of being honest (implying she could get herself in serious trouble), anybody without something to hide would fess up. Is it more important to find your husband's killer or to maintain your perfect appearance? Even if she's completely cold and doesn't care about her husband's killer, for nothing else, to preserve herself from going to jail... she should have fessed up. She should have said, oh my god I'm terribly ashamed... I did have an affair, I was too afraid to say anything but I'll give you everything you want. I just want to find his killer. Doesn't that make a lot more sense.

So with all that said... she didn't do that. She has fought tooth and nail to deny this affair, and has dragged her mom and friends in to it.

There are only two reasons that somebody would deny it to this level... either she didn't have an affair or she has something else to hide.

I think the evidence clearly shows she had the affair. So what are you left with...

That's how I started to turn around and really realize that it was much more. Who knows if the jury will go thru that exercise, but I have to think that some will.

Sorry for the long winded answer. I struggle with being brief :)
