Agree There was a lot of hate and angry involved in this premeditated crime. JMO
The only recorded hate in this scenario was between the Nuwabian Cult and Sheriff Sills. If you substitute Sheriff Sills for RD the case solves itself. Thus my pointing out the striking resemblance between RD and Sills. Mistaken identity is the cause. It also explains why the head was removed as a Trophy and to confirm the kill. Also the Nuwabians carried ceremonial swords.
