Thank you for all your good work! If only the outcome could have been different :-(

There were a lot who helped on "Sunday's Team", sister in laws, friends from the past, new friends, etc. The team did awesome in taking time out of their days...every day doing everything from getting the posters out to organizing and holding candlelight services. You can see some of the pics on her website www.findsunday.com
We all knew deep in our hearts that something happened to Sunday and just knew it was going to be foul play...but we all held the hopes that maybe, just maybe because she was such a beautiful exotic looking young woman that maybe some psycho had her captive in his basement...sad to think that is what we hoped for but at least there was hope with that as an outcome. What did happen was something that quite honestly wasn't as shocking for all of us...considering the information we learned (that will come out at trial)...however, the confirmation and the phone call from the GBI to confirm her earthly body was located really was and is devastating for the family. Keep them in your prayers. Also for Izzy.....especially for Izzy. A child who loses their mom at such a young age is just terrible.

The whole family and especially Sunday's little girl are very much in my prayers...I can't even imagine what they are going through. The evil that has been done here is beyond words.

I am trying to find the link or page it was on but I remember seeing in the tifton gazette newspaper online police reports that Herman was charged with assault sometime around the 20th thru the 25th of April... could this be related? could he have assaulted Ruby?

Its very confusing... I cannot find the link anywhere or locate on the gazette website where/when he was charged but I do remember seeing it.

Blombergh’s estranged husband in custody on unrelated charges

TIFTON — In unrelated charges, the estranged husband of Sunday Blombergh, whose body was found Thursday, is currently in jail in Tallahassee, Fla.

Theo Conoly, 30, of Tallahassee, is charged by Tallahassee Police with aggravated domestic violence with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and obstruction of justice, police say.

He is being held in the Leon County Jail and his total bond has been set at $36,000. According to Officer Derrick Friend of the Tallahassee Police Department, charges against Conoly are in no way related to the Sunday Blombergh case.

“It is a separate domestic violence case with a woman here and an incident involving the two of them,” Friend said on Friday.

Friend said the incident occurred on May 16.

Conoly's mother, Ruby Evans, is charged with murder in the death of his estranged wife, Sunday Blombergh.

Wondered that myself ... Working there and then met Mr. Charming? The photo of Theo in front of the florist van is dated 01/02/2008, so we know she worked there for at least the last two years.

Just a note about the date on that picture you are referring to...

It's true - the date of 01/02/2008 is on that specific picture but that's the same date on all the other date stamped pictures >> all of which are in photo album titled March 26 - which is the anniversary date of Ruby's deceased son...

Just saying - I learned a long time ago, never trust the date stamp on digital photos tho the year 2008 may very well be correct.

Aside from someone with firsthand knowledge stopping by to share info (tho it does happen so we can always hope), I'm not sure how we might know for certain >> how long Ruby worked at the florist?? >> which might help us to know which came first the chicken or the egg (the relationship with Herman or the job at the flower shop owned by his mama???) >> which IIRC was the direction of your original question.

Wait a sec, we do have the phone number to the flower shop....I imagine their phone is ringing off the hook these days with calls from the media.

Have there been anymore charges filed or arrest over the weekend? I have not seen anything in the news. I thought the police said there would be at least one more arrest.

Updated Saturday at 3:41 PM By: La'Tasha Givens

Blombergh lived in Tifton, Georgia with her seven year old daughter and in-laws.

Before her death, we are told, Blombergh was set to move back to Tallahassee and was taking her daughter with her.

Authorities believe having their granddaughter stripped away may have been too much for the Evans' to handle. Authorities say, that may have been why they killed her.

Tift County Sheriff Gary Vowell says, "Basically Ruby wanted the child, plan and simple"

How Blombergh died has not been determined, but investigators are pursuing the theory that she may have been shot on a couch in the living room.

Neighbors showed us the back of the house where they say they saw Roy Evans burning a couch, days after the investigation heated up.

Didnt he say on his facebook that Ruby had left him for her new boyfriend!! pure class.....and may I say he has to be one gullible man if she has left him, taunts him with a new boyfriend, lives somewhere else and he kills someone so that she can (thinks she can) get that persons child...

Roy Herman Evans, 44, 29 Briarwood Lane, was charged Thursday with felony murder.

Ruby Anne Evans, 45, 4195 Bemiss Road, Lot F-35, was charged Thursday with felony murder.

Guess Ruby was not living with Herman ...

I wondered if she had moved, b/c of his comments about her new b/f and that he had some kind of 'proof' in the form of emails that she wanted Sunday dead. I thought why would two people who live with each other be emailing each other ...

I also thought, if she really planned to murder Sunday, why on earth would she email those intentions ...

Has anyone figured out yet who this other character, Tomlinson IIRC is? Is he a friend of Herman's or Ruby's or both? I haven't found anything on him yet.

I am a little confused. At the time of Sunday's murder WHO was living at the home on Briarwood? It does not make sense that Herman and Ruby committed a murder together if they hated each other and had split up.

I wonder if Ruby used and manipulated Herman into murdering Sunday, then split to go live with the boyfriend?

So the address at Bemiss Road is a mobil home park. I see the owners name, but it may be a rental.
