I still think the arrest was too soon. I am curious about the hearing this week.
Well its not great press you have to admit although I doubt many will stop shopping there as a result of this. I think some might think about it walking into a store but that's all. I'm sure if for any reason the mother becomes a POI then I'm sure there will be a lot of angry people over the funeral being covered by the company.
It may or may not be. It is too early to tell until all the evidence is in.
I wonder how many people whose children drown have looked up water safety or child drowning.
It is just too soon to say. IMO
True, but in essence, the funeral was for Cooper, not his dad, even though... I'll stop here

Home Depot released a statement, they are cooperating fully with the investigation.

I'm still catching up with today's posts, but just listened to the audio of Mom's words at Cooper's funeral. I'm just sick after listening.

What is stirring in my head is that He is an IT guy. He knows that it will look bad for him. IF he was doing it deliberately to get away with murder, then he would not do it from his computer. The fact that they were both searching means to me that they were both concerned about it. It is just too plain to me.

Essentially what happens is that the body temperature gets so high that it begins to kill the cells," forensic pathologist and former medical examiner Vincent DiMaio told HLN. "It's like you're cooking something."
While hyperthermia can strike anyone with enough exposure to heat, babies and small children strapped into rear-facing car seats are at particular risk if a parent or caregiver forgets they are there. On an 80-degree day, a car can heat to an unsafe temperature in just two minutes, according to the National Weather Service, and the temperature can rise to 123 degrees in just one hour.
On the day Cooper died, the temperature peaked at 88 degrees.
Hi Scarlett,
I'm not going to say it's standard procedure, but from reports that I read there was probable cause to arrest him on site. Here is a link to the arrest warrant. I, too, am curious about the hearing this week, and hope it is broadcast -- because right now we are being fed bits and pieces of information, that I am so anxious to put together.

it appears he died the same way at least 619 other children have died since 1998, according to a study by a San Francisco State University researcher: his body got too hot and there wasn't anyone there to cool him down. It's a condition called hyperthermia.

Why? It was the funeral for a baby... a final send off. I wouldn't be. jmo
