His head was only SIX INCHES away from Coopers.

He claims he saw him because he turned his head to the right to make a right turn!

TY for reminding me of the 6" distance!

In addition, RH would have turned his head to the right when making the U-turn on his way to the office.

No way in hades do I believe he didn't see little Cooper's head sticking out above the car seat when RH made that U-turn (the detective stated that Cooper had outgrown the car seat and his head would have been visible above the top of the car seat, based on the mannequin test LE performed).

Yup, and YouCaring sends the money directly to your bank account. They already have that money.

Oh oh - that's the one I just posted about :( I read somewhere that donaters can request money back so hopefully some did.

Also, there was a 31-day timer on the page so maybe that time has to elapse before it's released to the donee. If not then I'm sure a lot of contributers are kicking themselves today.

Note to self: never ever give money to a stranger online unless all facts are known. Well, actually I tend to help out flesh and blood people in my own community but once in a while a heart tugger comes along and I'm tempted. Not so much now though...

Why was he using androgel?

I liked when the judge said, what difference does it make?? (if he was sexting men or women when the defense attorney was whining "don't know if they were female" )

Lmao!

I was like...exactly! That's not the relevant part!!

After watching the video related to death in hot cars and searching all the info and then leaving his son strapped tightly in his carseat to die that way....he is doing his business. Anyone else think if he had gotten away with this that he could have progressed into a sadistic serial killer? eta

BBM

Oh yes - if Cooper's death had been chalked up as an accident, and if RH had gone on to have future children, I have no doubt he would have found a way to "accidentally" kill them, too.

Surprisingly, most people have a great deal of sympathy for people who forget their children in cars. It's why we saw such a rush to defend in the beginning of this case. Even the donations from family, friends, friends of friends, friends of family, church and community would have been thousands!

I hope, if anything good can be brought from Cooper's death, that people will begin to take these cases seriously. I don't believe all these hot car cases are about just forgetting. Of course, forgetting a child is the worse case of irresponsibility.

I can't stand looking at RH's face. I hate that mug shot. There is no expression of remorse whatsoever. If my child were gone, my eyes would be swollen shut from crying. And the wife, her appearance in court, chomping gum with no expression. Something is terribly wrong with these people. I don't know if she is involved, but I think she's definitely an enabler.

Poor Cooper. He was such a beautiful child. How could his parents, at least his father, be so evil toward him. They could have given him to the grandparents or another family member, surely.

In that compact crossover, his elbow on the console rest and Cooper's head would have been touching.

On JVM...

Someone on Facebook who knows Whoshisdoodle posted how bad he feels that he initially defended him...said he felt like the person he thought he knew was just a ghost or something...

Poor guy! He couldn't have known...

Does anyone feel like you've never seen a case where so much damning evidence was presented at the preliminary hearing? I can not remember another case where I was shaking I was so upset by all the evidence presented at this stage! He really should take a plea IMO!

After all the evidence about sexting etc today, and if he had been granted bail where the heck would he go??? Jeeze Loueeze it wouldn't have been very comfortable at home --- or facing the neighbors.

Or I guess a guy like him wouldn't care anyways....

On JVM the reporter says the wife only showed emotion...wiped tears, when the character witnesses spoke about him (Harris)

Justin only cried when they were talking about him and his punishment as well - no tears that I saw during any testimony about Cooper. I've tried really hard to give this man the benefit of the doubt but it's hard after hearing today's testimony.

You know the way we're all feeling right now? We didn't even KNOW them and we are in shock, disbelief, disgust.

Can you imagine what all their friends and family must be feeling right now?

Think about what the defense witnesses must be thinking right now.

OT there are always people in need in your own community, who could use help. I don't really get these huge outpourings of money, sometimes to a ridiculous degree, after reading an online story. And often, the story is a hoax, or in a case like this, not what people thought. Jmo
