I would think that's standard, right? He just seemed so surprised. And with having footage of chickfila, that seemed to surprise him. I mean, have you been outside dude? Cameras everywhere.
Me too. I think the defense attorney was intimidated. He couldn't get him to waver. It appears to me that LE has done a fantastic job here. So happy about that, for Cooper...his justice.
I know criminal are often stupid and/or never think about getting caught, beyond the basics, but it still surprises me that this particular man would so completely ignore the traceability of his electronics in this situation. Just mind-boggling, the combination of arrogance, stupidity, carelessness, etc. But I am sure LE is grateful, as I know I am.

You make some good points. He was incredibly stupid in regards to the computer/phone evidence.I know criminal are often stupid and/or never think about getting caught, beyond the basics, but it still surprises me that this particular man would so completely ignore the traceability of his electronics in this situation. He's an idiot. He charged $4K of money he didn't have on his cc so he could get ff miles.
I'll point it out to the assigned mods. I just dropped in cuz I'm interested in the case.
I think Salem has a surprise for you guys tomorrow, but don't tell her I told you. :kimsterwink: I overheard her and Nursebeeme talking by the water cooler.
Not sure--you could check google. I did read he plays the guitar.
I feel pretty sure after today that they're going to try him for murder, or at least first degree child cruelty. I didn't think so until I learned that the felony murder charge could be problematic given the new law and sentencing. If they didn't have to, no reason to. But now I think they have to.
eta: and more major props to popsicle. That new law is extremely key imo!

or to flee the country looks like he might have been a flight risk after all.Did they need to fly to 'Bama?
Wait, I just realized that he might have been saving those miles for their "child-free" days....

Leanna looked bored to me. She seemed completely unfazed by what was being said in the courtroom about the death of her precious baby.
As for Harris's defense stradegy? Appell says that's going to be tough.
"I would find the best psychiatrist I could find. At this point in time the factual defense is going to be very difficult," he said.
If Ross had deleted the sexting photos from his cell phone, would LE have been able to retrieve them at this point, or would it take longer? I wonder if he never deleted them.
So true! I'm not so patiently waiting for her to get her turn.
What the new law Karmady? Did Georgia change their murder statutes?
Because he was only precious to everyone else.
