GA - Twin brothers miss flight to Boston, found dead 24 hours later in Georgia mountains, 14 Mar 2025

I don't think it's insurance on the boys...more likely the husband who had a stroke..there may be benefits, property etc. and specific instructions regarding his sons. right? could be. is there something she might want? what is the father's prognosis? is there a side boy friend? is the father in danger? let's just not ignore it...there needs to be more investigation.

okay so the gate was locked at 8. PM
at 10:30 PM they are seen near home at the store.
the gate doesn't open for parking again until 8 AM?

what did they do after the store?
when did they start driving to Bell M?
what time did they die?

obviously they missed the cutoff for parking. so from 10:30 PM to opening time at the park, what were they doing?

have they figured it out?
the car didn't just manifest itself into the lot.
does everyone have an alibi for that late evening and morning?
did they even question everyone?
if they got there in the morning and were able to park, what time was the lot opened that morning?
and if the got there in the morning, where were they all night?

if they got there in the night how did they get in? was the lock tampered with?
is there a way to get in? mOO
The family acted like they would be too scared to drive up the winding road at night, so maybe they waited until the early morning hours.

Also, kids used to love “just riding’ around” so maybe they waited until Sat AM to drive to Bell Mtn.

we need a break in this funky case that makes no sense. I just want it to make sense..emotionally and to see the actions that were taken and how they led to a double suicide. so far I hear that two fearful kids got a gun and some ammo and got info on how to use it because they were scared of something/someone, and now they are dead.

I hear that someone searched for suicide statistics for the previous year.

that's the evidence. mOO

I kinda agree.
I can live with the final report, but still have questions. I doubt we’ll ever get the full report.
I think GBI is not releasing the details because they were deemed suicides and LE usually doesn’t give details on suicides out of respect for the families.
The families were frantic with questions during the investigation, but, at least as far as I know, they have had very little to say since the final report. If that’s correct, I’m guessing they, probably reluctantly, agree with it. And they did get all the details.

well not exactly, they have said the disagree with the findings and have many more questions, also
the NAACP has called this a lynching and a cover up..so I think they should rethink just closing it so soon. mOO

it's interesting that they can just declare suicide when there is no explanation for the deaths.

if they killed themselves, then walk me through it and tell me why. mOO

In many cases of suicide, family and friends are shocked and just can't see a possible motive.

But yet we all have things that are bothering us and feelings we keep to ourselves.

Would it still feel so unlikely to you if this happened to just one young man, or is the fact that they both did it together the one factor that makes it so hard?
I don't understand why some think this may have been a lynching or murder.

What points in that direction? The shock of twins both ending their own lives, sad as it is, isn't evidence that something else happened.

Those who think it probably wasn't suicide, is there any circumstantial evidence at all involving another person?

Nothing does. As the final reports show.
I feel some people just can't accept suicide for some reason. And I don't just mean in this case.

I can see how mentally it would be much much easier for family to believe it wasn't suicide. I really do have empathy for them.

Oh I agree. I wasn't even talking about the family then either, just about people online who don't even have any connection to them, who refuse to believe it was suicide.

That is information I didn’t know.
If they have doubts, they should release the details so the public can see if GBI slacked on the investigation.
Maybe hire a private investigator?

Here's a link to :

In the article, it says that family wants GBI to release all their findings.
Why can’t the family do that? Why can’t they tell the public what GBI told them?
It is very weird to me, but the information released about the final report, that said LE had video evidence of the boys as they drove to Bell Mountain, is what makes me think they probably got it right. Nobody else with them. I never believed it was a lynching.

The press conference vid posted a page or 2 back sheds light on the current situation.

GBI might benefit from better communication with the family...now it appears if they fail or refuse to release investigation details lawsuits intended to force them to do so will soon follow.

Local and Georgia state NAACP have spoken out and are clear on their demands. We'll see what happens next 👍

I took it to mean the GBI closed the case but didn't allow the family to see the file as normally would happen when a case like this is closed. JMHO.

basically this case is probably easy to solve on it's face and maybe they did solve it. but this case is more than just face value. it is an extremely strange web of circumstances that do not fit anywhere in with the boys known behavior, skills or whereabouts... they have no history of trouble, violent tendencies, depression or mania. they have never threatened suicide, there were no recent
traumas or failures that we know about..they were good students and very well liked.

that they were in fear and are now dead is troublesome and I think the case deserves way more scrutiny.

I think if the time of death of the twins is known and released to the family; and if additional evidence of the twins locations between 10:30 PM the previous evening and the time of their deaths is known and supports them being alone together. These are my big question marks in being able to accept the GBI conclusion of suicide. If clear evidence has not been presented to the family I understand their lack of confidence in the GBI conclusion.

Would you explain in greater detail the idea that they were in fear. I've heard this but don't know the origin, was it a family member that stated this? I think it's important :)
