Garrido Says Dugard's Rights Violated

He does not need any food for thought...He is one with enough BS.
He may be reading here, he has access to news and computer.

You think they're letting him get online and surf the internet going to crime forums? I'm sure Jaycee has set the story straight with LE, but PG could have had a whole scenario thought up just in case.

If pedophiles and abductors in jail can surf the internet, then it's time for some changes at that jailhouse.

Jaycee can watch anything she wants to watch. It's the kids who are being censored.

Please let me know the link to where you read that. Thanks.

so this puke gets to watch tvs and read newspapers while jaycee either has to have everything scanned or cant watch at all?
jesus.

HUGE DIFFERENCE:
JC needs to be protected; it is a big job to heal brain washing,
It is not always know what can trigger her to go backwards.
To create a clean sled they have to go with little steps forward.
The further they remove him from her and the kids, the easier it is for her to heal.
Watching this entire case at this time for her, can not be beneficial.
I am sure that they tell her whatever they feel would help her feel safer.

HOWEVER that SOB can only get to see that he is toast by seeing the news.

SURE WE WOULD....They gave up their rights when they went against the law.

JC's attorney, MS, says in a press conference that JC and her mother "have been very guarded in allowing the girls, in particular, access to tv news, internet, newspapers and those kinds of things". I take from this that JC isn't being kept from media information but that the girls are. Her therapists may have advised that she not access these things, but she is an adult and can do what she wants. Here is where I obtained this info...

In the state of Oregon (not sure about California), inmates do NOT have the use of a computer unless they are acting as their own attorney or in an educational setting. The educational settings do not happen until after conviction. PG and NG are in a "holding pattern" right now and wouldn't have access to much in the way of recreation or research IMO.

If it is like jail in Oregon, inmates get to choose a couple of books at a time from the jailhouse library and those are censured. The TV is communal and the program is chosen by the guards through a consensus. I'm shocked that they are allowed to watch shows such as cage-fighting and films such as "American Beauty". Sometimes you just shake your head in disbelief.

But is there anyone among us who doesn't totally believe that PG is doing his darnedest to con the powers that be into letting him get on a computer?

Fortunately in Jaycee's case she had 11 years of relating to a normal world.
Unfortunately for the girls they think that the PG life style is normal, because that is all they know.

Their therapy is not exactly the the same; and the girls are under age while JC is not.

I am sure there is a lot of monitoring them all so they can transit into another life style, without having unnecessary input that can tug on them.

I doubt the girls require much therapy beyond the trauma they would have experienced having their parents wrenched from them. Jaycee is probably the only one who really needs it, she is going to have the toughest time adapting. For the girls the main focus would be their education, which would have practically non-existant to date. That is the most pressing issue as far as they are concerned, in fact for the oldest girl it is probably too late now. There won't be college in her future. I think Angel is still young enough to be salveable though.

Well, they didn't have their mother wrenched from them, they just grew up with her as their sister and they gained a grandmother and an aunt. The trauma would be learning what a monster your father is and what he put your mother through, so I think they will need lots of therapy to deal with this....

jaycee having to tell them she was there mom, (i understand thats what happened) that must have been an incredible scary/emotional moment for her. so good that she has so many people around her to support her.

They might know that Jaycee is their mother now, but chances are they don't see her that way, not in the way that you or I would anyway. In a way the situation is similar to Jaycee and her father, allthough they may be aware of the biological link, the emotional bond is with someone else. Biology can never replace that.

we dont know how close there bond as "sisters" was though. that may make the transiition easier.
