The two sentences below, taken from the above link caught my eye. Notice the wording about Croslin's and Brock's group. So, does this mean that Donna had her own drug operation going using other people in her "group" and Misty had her own drug operation going too? That is the way that I read it. Any comments, y'all.

I think it refers to just one group being linked to both of them. Which is not to say that they can't have had their own separate motivations of doing what they did, but I think Orlando Sentinel just brings Brock into focus because she's the focal point they chose for the article, being local.[/QUOTE]

This quote came out really weird..........:waitasec:

The quotes are messed up because there is an end quote tag without a corresponding begin quote tag in post #408.

LOL, Ronald will be shown that he cannot get away with pulling out his violent temper in jail.

JMO

N/k... I mean has RC ever even done a real stint in jail for any of the numerous crimes for which he's been charged? Such is the futility of sparing either a bad@$$ child or unruly young man every one of those lesser consequences all along the way. He's been wearin doppies but RC's gonna have to put on his big boy pants real fast now.

Ron and Jr haven't lived with Annette for quite some time.

This is news to me. Where did Ron & Jr move to and how long were they there?

I don't have HLN on my cable anymore so I just learned about this. They are royally screwed it would appear. I wonder if they can cut a deal with her if she confesses about what happened to Haleigh?

There is just SO much money that can be made from pain meds AND they are doled out easily in so many cases. You figure if you have ins. or medicaid then a generic script of 100 tablets costs around 10.00 - $ 15.00. Then 100 tablets x $5.00 = $500.00. That's insane!

After reading time and time again,,,about the pain meds,,and how some wish pain "docs" would all go away.....PLEASE,,,take a min and hear me out...I am almost 60 and suffer 24/7 with a spine that is deteriorating as I speak...I go to my pain specialist once a month,,,every month,,,every other month I have to have a urine test,,,even though I have been going to him for years...He says the urine test are needed to keep his license....Now,,without my pain meds,,I would rather die..The meds do not relieve my pain 100%,,,so daily I live with pain..but the meds help me function to the point I can do things for myself,,,going to bathroom, feeding my self and cooking for my husband......I have been on pain meds for the last 9 years after 2 failed back surgeries and implants, that have done little to make my life bearable..........I am so SICK and tired of hearing about people like these that sell and deal pain killers,,,,,,making it a real problem for people like me,who need, them, to get them....Celebrities with no medical history of pain, taking them for kicks, then overdosing,,, these yokels taking them to get high, then selling for income,,,,,I need them just to get through the day.....My pain dr. will NOT give me "extras" if I lose them or they get stolen....I signed a contract with my doctor,,,and believe you,,me,,,I know where my meds are 24/7......I would not want to live one more day,,if I had to experience the pain without them.......People who have never experienced 24/7 pain from anything just doesnt get "it"....and I wouldn't wish that on anyone....

southernvagirl, I totally understand! I'm 52 and my doc has prescribed hydrocodone for my arthritis and honestly although I work (because I have no choice) I can barely walk without it. It's made a HUGE difference in my life, while the pain doesn't go away, at least I'm not in agony. :( I don't know if he will continue to give them to me as he has the last 6 mths or so or not and that scares me, I don't know what I would do. Change docs most likely. I try not to take more than (2) 7.5 mg daily as they tend to make me feel yucky sometimes. I also want my Dr to know that I am aware of the dangers (I was married to an addict for 19 yrs, so I'm well aware) and it's not like I just started going to him when this agonizing pain started.

I'm of the mind that quality of life is of the most importance, otherwise what's the point? I don't want to be dependent on pain meds for the rest of my life, but I would rather be dependent on them than to have no quality of life at all if I had to make that choice. My oldest daughter does not even take a tylenol unless absolutely necessary and freaks out at the idea of me taking them (because of her dad) so she doesn't know. My youngest son does dabble in pot, I'm well aware of that and other than it being illegal, I don't have a problem w/that. (prolly puts me in the minority here, but that's ok!) He never touched a pill until he was hospitalized 5 yrs ago (@19 yrs old) with pneumonia and collapsed lungs. Now, I know that he will take some sort of pain pill if the opportunity arises, so he does not know that I have them either.

Completely O/T post, sorry about that! Just wanted to say that you are absolutely right, things like this makes it extremely difficult for those who really need the meds...

I take my pain med as prescibed....If I have a headache I will just take a tylenol...or alieve.....People like the Cummings and Croslins who are dealing these drugs,,,,,If they could only expeerience what some of us go thru daily, to need them just to live....I would love for them to know,,what needing them is all about.

I am nearly 50 southervagal and I totally hear you. My experience for the past 10 years has been similar, although I did get off the meds over a yaer ago to prepare for surgery - which I decided against, but I also stayed off the meds. I agree with you 100% about legitimate pain vs. those abusing the drugs and selling them for profit. I was always worried about getting ripped off when I had my full meds at home and counted them regularly to make sure my grown kids hadnt dipped in!

I went to see a new GP and part of the paperwork I was to sign stated "I would not ask for any kind of Pain Medication, if I do so, the patient privileges will be denied and I will no longer be a patient there. If You need pain medication you MUST SEE A PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR. None will be prescribed at this office" I had to sign that to be see. I wasn't there for pain meds, I do have a pain management doctor, but that is how bad it is in FL. She had a glass bullet proof window and a steel door that buzzed you into the back to be seen. We have Drug stores held up all the time for Oxy! Doctors are just not prescribing the narcotics anymore because of these pushers.

While this development is very interesting and hopefully will aid in the Haleigh mystery, I wish LE would not have used the reverse buy tactics.
If the quantity sold to undercover is equal to the quantity bought from undercover, some smart lawyer will come out of the wood works IMO, crying foul.
Misty had no previous conviction and letting her break the law 7 times before arresting her, looks like entrapment.
They all are small potatoes in the overall drug trade judging by the qties seized.
Ducking rotten tomato throwing.

Last OT I promise! I often wonder if people realize that they need to keep this kind of meds in a different place than others and NEVER in your bathroom medicine cabinet! Addiction knows no social or economic boundaries and an addict (someone you least suspect) will have NO problem using your bathroom and pillaging through your medicine cabinet to see what they can find..

No need to duck, lol! It appears if you read back through articles and press releases that LE considered that prior and took precautions to make sure that wouldn't happen.. Don't have a link at my fingertips, but I read where Misty approached them.

Hopefully AS has all her ducks in a row.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. She had no comment as to whether she knew it was going on?! I mean that sounds like a pretty easy question. The fact that she didn't immediately say no to protect Ron makes me think that she doesn't know whether LE has proof otherwise. There is just no end to the destruction that Ron and Co have caused and where it will end nobody knows..Hopefully it will end in finding out where HaLeigh is and I would give anything for that to happen before the anniversary of her disappearance. MOO..
