SC is an MSM reporter. Her tweets are not considered rumor.

.

That would be spooky if CN knew DM was a murderer and she still wanted to be with him.

Maybe that is what LE were hinting at when they used the description "a unique circle of friends" (paraphrased)

I always thought the "unique circle of friends" was the tattooed/drugs/guns crowd. JMO

Arnie, spooky as in scary, gross, disturbing, disgusting and WTF is wrong with her head kind of meaning?! Sadly CN's not the first woman to think or act that way and likely not the last, if that was/is the case. Young, naive, in love, threats, money are not reasonable excuses for her ignorance. MOO.

Glithero, who was a defence lawyer before being appointed to the bench more than 22 years ago, has presided over some of Hamilton's highest-profile cases.

He oversaw a multimillion-dollar lawsuit filed by former federal cabinet minister John Munro against the Queen, the attorneys general of Canada and Ontario, the RCMP commissioner, a detective and three Crown attorneys. Munro filed suit after being cleared of criminal charges related to a failed run for the federal Liberal leadership.

Glithero also presided over the Domenic Racco gangland murder trial, which led to his staying of the charges and alleging corruption among the police and lawyers involved.

He also presided over the trials of Sukhwinder Dhillon, convicted of poisoning his wife and business partner. That case led Hamilton detectives to India during their investigation.

Glithero has a reputation for being able to manage legally complex trials, speaking bluntly and putting up with little nonsense.

I appreciate accountability. Way to go Judge. MOO.

The atmosphere in the Superior Court of Justice was tense.

Eight people, scattered around in seats inside the London courtroom, sat nervously waiting for the judge.

None was facing criminal charges. But if the judge wanted to, they could be slapped with contempt of court charges.

As they sat there last month, they were about to find out you can’t just brush off a notice in the mail calling you for jury duty.

All eight had been called upon in November, as juries were being chosen for several trials.

They were no-shows.

Then, in a move seldom seen in Canadian courts, Superior Court Justice Andrew Goodman ordered the rogue jurors to show up in court and explain why they — among 300 people summoned for jury selection — hadn’t responded.

I think the Honorable Justice Goodman will be an excellent replacement for the trial. One of the more interesting, IMO, cases from his resume from right out of Ancaster....

And so it comes as something of a pleasant shock when women making allegations of abuse against a man are treated in court with complete impartiality. Such was the case last week, when two Ancaster, Ont. sisters were ordered by Superior Court Justice Andrew Goodman to pay $125,000 in libel damages to their uncle.

Just to clear up a couple of posts from the other thread.

Justice Glithero and Justice Goodman are based in the same region, Central South.

http://www.ontariocourts.ca/scj/judges/current/judges/

From the same link in the other thread, they are also both based out of Kitchener, which again is the Central South Region-Waterloo Regional Municipality, and which includes Hamilton.

Nothing unusual there.

Secondly, the sentence that CN is facing is not life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 25 years. Although the maximum sentence is life, there is no minimum sentence and the "no parole for 25 years" does not apply. A couple of samples of accessory after the fact sentences....

Jason Lusted - 7 1/2 years

Simon Dugas - 2 years less a day served in the community

http://www.metronews.ca/news/halifax/2012/07/17/conditional-sentence-handed-to-man-in-halifax-murder-case.html

Jermaine Middleton - 3 years

http://www.thevanguard.ca/News/2010-04-26/article-1039540/Three-years-for-accessory-to-murder-after-the-fact/1

Brent Adams - 5 years

http://blogs.windsorstar.com/news/man-sentenced-to-4-12-years-for-role-in-fatal-pelissier-street-shooting

Stephen Foerster - 3 years

http://www.theprovince.com/news/father+armstrong+teen+killer+gets+three+years+being+accessory+after+fact/9814944/story.html

They will take into account various things such as, the extent to which she helped, whether she is talking, past lack of criminal record, etc.
