LOL, and you wonder why the actual trial takes years, 4th day for bail application!

I think the state is wising up to the fact that with the evidence they have they shouldn't be going down the road that he was intentionally trying to kill Reeva, just that he was intentionally trying to kill anyone behind that door regardless.

It's hard to argue with that if you take that angle vs. trying to argue the specific 'he was targeting Reeva' angle.
I agree with you. Imo, they dont have a very strong case against him from what we have heard to convict him for pre-med murder against Reeva.
But maybe things change at trial....lol, I feel all doubtful if he will get bail tomorrow after been totally convinced yesterday and this morning that would...now...not sure!!

Yes, you have to admit it's a jolly well-scripted drama. You don't know from one act to the next whodunit.
I've no doubt there will be Gallup Polls coming out that say 16.8% of respondents feel Oscar is the victim here*. Especially since RS was obviously a "jezebel". After all, a Minister said so.

*Hey, think how many actually believed Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11 or Obama is Kenyan.

If you watched the video of the double amputee and how he walks, he uses his hands for balance. Portable fans can be long so he would have to push it.

A portable fan could be leaned over his shoulder and carried. You seem to think he's got really short stumps, his amputation is below the knees. You don't think you could pick up a portable fan, lean it across your shoulder and carry it five feet while walking on your knees?

I sure could. And I'm not a strong athlete and someone who is used to walking on my knees.

I was going to ask you yesterday how a trial could take years there, but I wonder no more lol!

So very true, I have a few questions, does he come from a well to do family,
and was his father a Doctor, is O. P. fluent in English, if he is set on Bail, where would he live, surely not back at his home, unless he hired Bodyguards
around the clock, till this dies down, anyone on the board from SA who have been giving us excellent information, have any ideas.
I will say this, he dresses very well each day in court, lovely pressed suit, very stylish shirts, and matching tie to go with his attire, and well groomed in general, how tall is he, as his upper body looks long.
Thanks!!

I was impressed with Nel. IMO he proved intent and that is what he had to do. It does not matter who OP killed. He intended to kill someone. IMO Pistorius will not be released on baii as he could hamper or scamper.

Cases start at stations, according to jurisdiction. RT @mfiredragonj: Why did van Aardt not get case originally?

#OscarPistorius Van Aardt is a behind-the-scenes wizard. Has worked on many high-profile cases. Based at Gauteng Investigation Unit.

#OscarPistorius My prediction ahead of 4pm police presser: Botha pulled off case, sleuth Mike Van Aardt takes over.

16:10 - Prosecutor Nel tells BBC’s Andrew Harding "not more than an hour" left for his argument on Friday.

That stick (memory) is never answered by the defense, whenever it is brought up by the Prosecution, I would imagine that is where all the information for his Banking Records are, does he have a lot of money?
Also since I do not really know anything about the running Sport, and he by his Manager has been pulled from all Races, I believe for the rest of the year, was he earning money by competing in those events all around Europe etc..

Phiyega says she does not know why the NPA decided to reinstate charges against Botha, but it raises suspicion @eNCAnews #OscarPistorius

They will have a hard time proving premeditated murder. I hope they don't go for it. Because if he IS guilty, we'll have another Casey Anthony on our hands.

Goodness.. could go into a second week. :what:

Well, that would of course allow for this scene to materialise:

Enter the adorable Charlize Theron (for it is she), armed with an envelope and a statuette:

"And this year's Pistorius for the Best Supporting Histrionics in an English-Language Bail Hearing goes to..."

:blushing:

Phiyega: "We do not lynch people... Officer Botha is still a member of SAPS, he is still working. He is not suspended."

David Smith ‏@SmithInAfrica
Phiyega on Botha: "He is an experienced detective. He has 22 years' experience."

David Smith ‏@SmithInAfrica
Phiyega: "Only yesterday did we receive feedback from the NPA." So Botha would not have been aware of it.
