Excellent, heart-felt post, ToL. I respect you so much, and care about how you're feeling. I hope that you will continue to post with us. I don't want to lose you here ... you've been a huge part of what we've built in this forum.

Listen, speculation is fine as far as I understand, as long as it's stated as such. Rumors & gossip have also been allowed. The only thing that's been disallowed aside from the usual TOS is that we cannot post information and say something like "This is the way I feel because I have information that you don't, but I can't divulge the source." I don't really think that it's as complicated as it sounds. I hope you will reconsider, and stick around with us. :blowkiss:

No, I knew about that one. I was looking for one that he really opened up with like he did with his VX friends.

Did we ever discuss these posts? I don't recall them, and I find a couple of things very interesting:

1) From jager - "When I first got my 620 S (about 9 months ago), I came out one day to see a business card on my 620 that said "I have a 748 lets ride sometime". It was from Raven (NC_VX) and although we didn't get to go riding before winter, we talked a few times. Cool guy...so this is a legit seller, FYI. Now post some pics Raven!"

(That's quite an outgoing gesture to put a note inviting a joint ride with a stranger that could be absolutely anyone.)

2) March 7, 2005 - Raven said "... since August its been either in our storage shed in the back of our property or covered in the driveway as I haven't had a garage since I bought this house ...

3) March 7, 2005 - Raven said " ... SORRY, no trades as I've got to unload to pay bills and decrease debt to income ratio!!!"

(Interesting that he mentions the need to decrease his debt to income ratio on this date - only about 6 weeks before Janet was murdered.)

So, maybe Raven(or someone) just wanted to see if he was "Hot or Not".

If someone else put it there, okay - no harm done. But Raven linked it to one of his web pages so it seems like he was at least aware of it.

And I'm probably in the minority here at WS but Raven IS hot in his appearance. Did he really need that validated by a bunch of Internet strangers? Especially considering that he was married at the time?

Yeah, I haven't quite figured out how both of those things are possible at the same time but what do I know? It does show once again that Raven definitely has issues. He didn't even have to mention his renter/owner status at all, yet he chose to mention it, and LIE about it to give the impression that he wanted those people to have. :waitasec:

The one post where he's saying something to a guy about a purchase he made from him - seems Raven might have sent him money but never got anything for it. And the other is the one where he's talking about the recommendations that the auto shop gave him about certain parts and then when he wanted them to install them, it couldn't be done. He referred to them as f*%#ers. Let me know if you can't find them, and I'll track them down.

True, but then again the internet is full of folks that inflate their lives. Thats why the message boards just dont mean much to me. Now, find me someone in his real life, that can show me he was leading a "double" life and I would have a different opinion. But being someone you arent online is all too common.

Guys, it looks like we're all on our own for this weekend. Its probably better, I am moving the end of htis month and getting preasure from friends and family that I am shirking my responsibilities for entertainment.... NO, not me!!!!

(I find myself coming back to this statement again & again. Since he was still posting about selling the Ducati only 6 weeks prior to Janet's murder, do you think that he might have gotten to the point of being overwhelmed by responsibilities ... being told to grow up, being told he's shirking his responsibilities, etc., that he tried to figure out any way possible to be able to keep those toys of his? That he didn't want to give up his boyish ways, and found the only way out that he could think of?)

I wanted to say afew things about the quote that 4wheelparts is the best 4 wheel place. I know that there is one in Charlotte, NC and this is what I have to say.... I spent $2k on parts for my jeep, from springs, to seats, liner, push bars, pitman arms, steering columns, etc... All the accessories get in and I take the jeep in to have it all installed (because I don't have a garage to do it myself) and the freakin company calls me and said they can't cause the jeep has a spring over and they don't work on spring over lifts.... Holy Cow, it was their staff that came out, surveyed my car, recommended the correct solutions, and **** like that... And then they say they can't install any of it!!! PLuS, PLUS, PLUS, they recommended I sell the VX instead of mod it and spend the money I woud have spent lifing the VX and shiz to fix up my jeep!!!! F$*#&$'s

Just a few days!!!

Getting Pissed Alright, I haven't been on here since my last post on this section. I sent Allen a private message and got nothing back from him. Where the freak are my brackets. How can all of you back him in this state...

Second and most important. I took my car into a repair place Monday for an oil change, tire rotation, and new Timing Belt. Looks like a half day's of labor turned into a three day project. Seems that the Water Pump they wanted to add was the wrong one, then the Timing belt wasn't "Timing" right and they couldn't figure it out. Then it looks like the gasget cracked and oil was leaking, then the timing was still off... Finally on Thursday afternoon I pick up my car. They only charged me for three hours of labor even though it took them forever.

I get my car and drive off into the sunset. Well, when I start her up she doesn't seem to be reving up right, the idle is in between 0-1,000 RPM's and just doesn't sound right (hell, I have a PV muffler if you wanted to know). I head onto the onramp of the freeway and it spudders a little bit as I floor it and the CHECK ENGINE light blinks rapidly twice or three times and then stays on. I take the VX back to the repair shop and they said that the computer code is "Cylinder 5 Misfire" and the code was reading this when I came in. I just drove the thing 700 miles this weekend for thanksgiving and the light did come on once and I figured it was for the timing belt or the maintenance. Anyway, my car doesn't feel right, I'm afraid I've got some engine failure going on and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.

I feel kinda cheated here causee I expect to get my car back better then when I brought it in since I paid $450 for them to do all that stuff. What do you recommend?

(But it was okay when they only charged him for 3 hours in spite of the intensive work he thought they put into it - doesn't sound like he brought it to their attention, IMO.)

..........i wonder what's going through his mind tonight................the eve of his court case on the "mere $9000 embezzling"....

...if in fact he HAS to be present.............will he be there ???? with all that's been going on in his life the past few months, if i were LE i'd have a watchful eye on him...........he's a flight risk if there ever was one.........
