I wonder if Haleigh had ingested drugs in the past? The ER normally doesn't do any type of blood work when you bring in your child if the child is not running a fever. It is said that TN took Haleigh to the ER because Haleigh had stomach cramps, nausea and was vomiting. Most ER Dr's would say she has a stomach bug, bring her back if not better within 48hrs or if she spikes a fever. I would think that if Haleigh did have stomach bug, her having Turner Syndrome would of spiked her fever since they have such low immune systems. I am no doctor though. I just always felt that these picture were of an abused Haleigh, not a Haleigh that just had a simple fall at the play ground in school. JMO (BBM)

Both tests were negative for any abnormalities. She was provided medication, and released.
(TN mentions this openly but it sounds unrelated to me )


Allegdly, Ronald he smacked Junior and he got like a bloody nose
and Ron stated Junior had a ‘weak nose,’ and that’s why he bled so much.”

Whether Ron mistreated his kids is not my point. Haleigh had been to the ER twice before. AND believe me RON WAS ON THEIR RADAR!!!
From the pictures I have seen those injuries were more severe than falling from the monkey bars. She looks like she has been an unrestrained passenger in a car collision.IMO no child could generate the type of force that would be needed for this kind of impact damage.

It had only been 3 months. He was not going to allow her to go to the ER again...
Because he needed to PROVE he was not abusing his child. more than anything else at the time. IMO

My theory...and I have several/and they have not included that someone has her (alive) and is keeping her "hidden"...

With the national attention, news, interviews, this case has received...I don't know how someone could "pull this off" and keep a child isolated all this time...

Even residing out of state with someone.....How could that be achieved??? People, shopping, neighbors, ...and with her medical condition..wasn't she under a doctor's care most of her life????Her medical needs???
Also...no sightings...that I have heard, anyway..

If M is saying...SOMEONE HAS HER..(AS IN...deceased and buried nearby) More probable to me...but then...Misty has trouble with ANY statements she makes...all in my own opinion..

Funny you should mention these thoughts. I have been bouncing around such questions in my own head. LOL

LE would never say if Misty had access to a vehicle on the night in question, they withheld that info early on in press overage. Chelsea reports having the blue van and using it to travel to the hospital in Gainesville on February 9th, she parked it in her driveway that evening according to her and she didn't find it in the position she remembers having parked it on the morning of the 10th.

What I have been questioning is whether Joe or Timmy left sometime in the evening with the van and went to Misty. Tommy C said he wasn't using pills that night, was Misty? Did they both want to try and get some pills from somewhere? Chelsea C tells us that her husband Timmy couldn't have taken the van because he was on medication and sleeping, he had just been in a car accident himself. So we know that at least one member of the Croslin family absolutely had access to medication that night. Did he share it with Joe? Might someone have taken a pill or two to Misty and Tommy? Is it possible that Misty used the blue van to go see her supplier and left the children alone or with her brother or Joe and came back to a very big and irreversible problem? If it is true that a neighbor heard a scream/commotion around 1:30 am that night, maybe that was when Misty returned to the trailer and realized that something had happened to Haleigh? I don't know, you see I am just as confused now as I am when the case began...with so few facts to go on I guess many scenario's might be possible.

We have no concrete date when the van was taken in for testing. There were several vehicles taken in early on in the investigation. As far as the van being returned, that was around 3/18/09

I would bet 90% of the people in this country have never paid attention to the name Haleigh Cummings or even looked at her picture. We just spend so much time here, we think everyone does. Florida--might be a different story, but plenty of other places in this country.

Since my response to the post below is a key element of my theory, I am bringing it to this thread.

Such as what? Surely when he came in and found Haleigh gone Misty told him what happened. IMO, Misty Croslin knows a heck of a lot more about what happened to Haleigh. Imo, she was there .........he wasnt.

I have never understood the big deal made anyway about Ron saying he was at work. I would have said the same thing if I had just come in from work and found my child missing. What did you expect him to do? Lie and say he wasnt at work? That he just woke up or something? :waitasec: I really don't get why this seems so nefarious to some.

The man told the truth. If he had not told them that then they would have asked him how he discovered that she was missing.

Let me tell you a few things I didn’t expect him to do.

-I didn’t expect an innocent father of a missing child to hang up on the 911 operator TWICE during a call that was only 6 minutes in duration.

-I didn’t expect an innocent father of a missing child, when asked for the most basic of information, her date of birth, to respond with “DATE OF BIRTH? HER DATE OF BIRTH”

-I didn’t expect an innocent father of a missing child to repeatedly curse at the 911 operator and LE, pointedly calling them MOT**R *ERS.

-I didn’t expect that an innocent father of a missing child had ANYTHING better to do than to provide Law Enforcement with any assistance or information requested, especially during the initial, most critical time period for the recovery of a missing child.

But above all else, you know what I didn’t expect? I didn’t expect an innocent father of a missing child to MARRY the 17 year old “dumb ” that “let his child get stole” THIRTY DAYS later and get cake shoved in his mouth while over 100 dedicated MOT**R *ERS walked every inch of both sides of an 8 and ½ mile stretch of Hwy 17 searching for evidence regarding his missing child.

RC states he picked Haleigh up from the bus stop-put her on his lap, and let her steer home. He also said, he let her put the turn signal on. RC and Haleigh got out of the car RC kissed the kids, and Misty good bye told them he loved them, and went to work.

I just bet that Ron was in the blue van too. Didn't he say he was not allowed to drive it?At some point he did and let HC drive and turn on the blinker. The van was returned with a scratch/dent. What do ya bet he got into a wreck? NOT with another vehicle cause paint would normally transfer...
Haleigh would have been bleeding badly IMO. Which was the reason for the DEER blood... They placed Haleigh in the back of the van and called TN.... TN had to clean up the mess. Ron as usual... ran away from the problem and let his mom handle it... Thought he had gotten away with another accident yet again until Haleigh died. Explains why no evidence of a crime was found at the MH. The blankey was porbably covered in blood NOT pee...
MAYBE the brothers and JO did help MC hide the body.

It explains the tattoo of TN (he owes her big time)... TN sending someone to check on them... a nurse...Do you think she'll talk and on and on!!!

And why they have coddled Misty until the bus started rolling her way...IMO of course!!

Just my rambling thoughts, and again sorry if any has been covered already but I've read so much I can't remember!

1) Stranger Abduction theory: someone close to or with knowledge of the custody issue and/or DCF history and/or simply having seen & heard what went on in the Cummings home KNEW that Haleigh could be a prime target simply because her family was such a mess and ripe full of suspicious (someone)...


2) Timmy Croslin.... Perhaps Tommy's convo with Nanny Flo is referring to Timmy as the free one, the "punk" who needs to pay....remember the "but, except..." when talking to Flo about Joe? Perhaps Joe was there and that is all? Perhaps he caught himself simply because he realized he had better? Perhaps he doesn't want Lindsay and the kids visiting for a very good reason?

3) Ron's "whoop her " conversation... are we sure he was talking to Misty and not just telling a friend/relative how to handle their kid? If it was in fact Misty, we've already covered that Ron didn't want an ER visit for DCF reasons. Is it possible Haleigh was whiny, not feeling well; Misty didn't take it seriously or didn't want to deal because she's exhausted...turns out to not be such a small deal after all and everything goes downhill from there?

*** I know the Croslins and Cummings are all a big mess but I just cannot shake the feeling that this is all TOTALLY wrong in direction as far as the ones that are in jail....

I firmly believe one of the following at this point:
1) stranger abduction: Misty doesn't know what happened but is just trying to get LE off her back, plain and simple, so she lies...who could it be? Well, look at Joe, look at Tommy, look at anyone but me but I don't know...

2) an accident/illness gone awry.... they were afraid if they told the truth, it wouldn't be believed, or they'd be investigated, or they'd lose custody of the kids. So they made up one lie after another, thinking it would all eventually go away. I just have a strong feeling that there's a definite possibility that had they just told the truth from the beginning, we might not have ever even heard of Haleigh Cummings...

3) Timmy Croslin....moved real quick...Joe was staying with him...Misty feels loyalty to Chelsea and Timmy...Misty was "testing the waters" when she tells Chelsea the truth will hurt someone they care about...

Man I wish I knew where the dent was in that van. Wonder if that's what Ron punched? and not just the wall. LE would have been able to tell if the injury had just occured or had happened hours earlier.

If she had gone to see Hank... she would have been gone for very long time. So no way was she home with the A/C guy or for GGMS...
Did she meet up with RC before work?
GAH! I wish I knew! but she was NOT headed back to the MH from what I gather.. MOO

I read that she drove in the opposite direction of the MH from the school.

about 3:23. they also have ummm surveilance videos from the top of the
hill where it goes from two lanes to 4 lanes… they asked me if i was
there what took me so long to get home? i said i stopped at the store…
well what store? i told em, well what did you buy? i said, i bought
a pack of basic lights in a box, i bought a pack of newport shorts
in a box, i bought a pack of honey roasted peanuts, i bought a pack of
salted peanuts, and i bought a 30 ounce Budweiser in a bottle.
Who is the "they" that asked him what took him so long to get home? He told "em". It really sounds like Misty was not alone IMO
He remembered every brand of cigarette just before he found out his daughter was "gone" but not his baby's date of birth... So V E R Y sad. :no:

This is an interesting re-read. According to Art Harris sources Misty did not stay with Ronald on Sunday Night and, that is why he was racing to get Haleigh to school on Monday. I just re-read this old article.

According what private investigator William Staubs says sources told him – and mine confirm – Ronald was up all Sunday night waiting for Misty to come home. The sources say she never did, and he finally fell asleep—and overslept. Then had to rush and race to get Haleigh to school, and presumably try to find Misty before he went to work Monday afternoon at PDM Bridge Company, where sources say co workers and cell phone records confirm he was until quitting time.

When she finally came in Monday morning, she slept at her father’s house” nearby, Staubs tells me in an exclusive interview.

There is conflicting information on this.

And at the very beginning of that Nay Nay tape she says she picked Misty up at her brother's house in Pomona Park. I think it is the one posted here there are a couple floating out there.

So there was not a rush to Welatka (sp??) that morning to pick up HaLeigh's outfit she wanted to wear ?

I have some questions...hoping to get some answers...

If R picked H up at the bus stop...in the blue van..and he let H drive..home..then HE got out....and said goodbye to the others..Then did he get in another vehicle to go to work...What vehicle?? his truck??

He explained that H making the turn? into the driveway..was there a "scramble" for the blinker...If H was sitting on his lap, which blinker would she have to pull on..the right or left??? Was there a sudden stop!!! Did his airbag go off..with her sitting on his lap???...Does R seem to have to explain the turnsignal incident??? Just don't know what happened....
