When they both gave their versions of the events of the evening, they each described JO as the perp. What was odd is that neither tommy or misty mentioned each other in their unique scenario. That tells me that they're lying.

LE is really angry with both tommy and misty. Ron, they gave up on long ago. They knew he would never talk. They need misty and tommy to give evidence. They won't or can't. If they can't then a third party disposed of Haleigh. If they won't, then one of them is the perp.

dodie, this is a tough one because this has gone on for so long. Misty is a con and a manipulator...I don't know if she did it but my first guteral instincts were she did.

She has turned on her brother in the worst way. She told the world he molested her. She told LE about the minor thefts wich, BTW, gave him moocho more time. She told LE her brother holds the key....and to ask him.

I think she is more than willing to sell him out if she had anything. The problem as I see it is tommy has never once got angry or talked back to her or defended himself with her allegations..now that is strange.

And I think that is where LE is going. Y didn't tommy defend himself? It appears he would be guilty of the charges since he didn't.

My very 1st reaction was to think Misty was guilty, & a lonely Ron, took her back because, he saw her anguish, & 'forgave' her? wanted someone to share his pain? IDK, but then he started acting like he was controlling the game, & then he married her, so I thought she was covering for him. & then Tommy threw himself into the mix. HE's the one IMO, who doesn't belong. He's the one, who complicates things. He's the one, who laughed, while hugged up with his wife, when told that Misty was pointing at him. I seriously don't get him. I've never seen anybody like him. MOO.

I still say misty and ron broke up long before that fateful weekend. I think misty laid down the law that she was not going to watch the kids for him if he worked nights. Now rc has serious problems. I don't think he was working that shift long at all, possible 2 weeks, TN said three, so I will say it is more likely two weeks. Since misty was running around for at least two of those weeks, ron was desperate for babysitting and I'll even throw in furious and on a rampage. He could not control her.

You've got me thinking Dodie...I understand why this is so confusing. If I take rc out..I will say misty killed her and asked her brother for help. We have no idea what she told him.

Ron's behavior messes up this simple picture. I know TN insisted that rc have a good "father and family" image and she helped him create one. It all seems so unnecessary if he is not covering up guilty kge..or worse. BUT he is strange.

If we didn't have so many strange and unusual people in this case, it would be solved.

Tommy = odd behavior because he inserted himself and never defended himself of all the accusations misty made.

Ron = odd because he defended and immediately married the girl who last saw his daughter alive. He never questioned her either, another point for odd.

JO = odd because he happened to be in town when this all came down and left ASAP. His affect is also odd. He is a wild card.

Misty = odd because she has told way too many stories and can't give a decent timeline. She is the one with possible motive to harm Haleigh. She threatened Amber about taking her child since she already got her man. What is there about misty and her need for kids? Was there an underlying rivalry with Haleigh for ron's affection?

instincts might not mean diddly in this case, because these people are different. Misty & Tommy were raised in a way, I'll never understand, & only in my wildest imaginings, can I picture what their childhoods were like. Drugs are 1 thing, but the molestation that Misty claims, the moving around, I doubt there was food, Misty quit school in the 6th grade, for crying out loud. I would think she would've wanted to go for the free lunch, if nothing else. Her life must've been horrible. & her mother didn't even bother putting her on the bus. & Lisa admitted to blackmailing her own daughter! & that phone call between Tommy & FH, took it to a whole new level. She acted like she had hit the lottery...because she had been right about JO. & LC was on another line, asking if Tommy was 'the one'. This family is really different, & I've known some hardcore dysfunction. In my on family & others. MOO.

yeah, but there's no way, imo, this family went downhill, from good to bad, because of Haleigh. They didn't take care of their kids & they were drug addicts, & not just pot smokers. what kind of parents would let let their kid quit the 6th grade, & then blame her for being wild? Those kids, especially Misty, should've been taken away. I guess all that moving, helped them slip through the cracks. Nobody cared & this is what happens when nobody cares. The kids turn into Misty & Tommy. MOO.

There are two witnesses that gave sworn statements that were taped to law enforcement. They were both questioned by Detective Peggy Cone early on in the case.

Those two witnesses claim that Ron was not at work the night Haleigh went missing. Those two witnesses claim that while the EVENING NEWS WAS ON, Ronald Cummings was at one of their homes, ranting, raving, asking for money, and waving around a handgun.

Ron was talking about robbing a crack dealer... These two individuals thought he was crazy, didn't give Ronald money, and went back in to finish the news. One of them even made the statement that they were gonna see Ron on the news one day. They woke up the next morning and they watched Ronald on the news crying about his missing child.

Law enforcement has this information, coupled with information by Ron's co workers at PDM that claimed he was known to sneak out of work.

I have tried to contact one of the witnesses to talk with them myself, but my phone calls were not returned.

Ron is trying to get money for some reason. Why does he desperately need money at this particular time? What has happened? Why isn’t he at work?

The bus stop – why did so many people put themselves at the bus stop that afternoon? We have Misty, Chelsea or Lindsay (can’t remember which one now) and Ron. IIRC, TN said it was Ron. Well how does she know? Why lie about who picked up Haleigh? Because something had to have happened around this time or shortly thereafter.

The evening visit - Approx. 7:00-7:30 – Keep in mind that by now, TN has had plenty of time to arrive at the MH if something happed to HaLeigh shortly after she got off of the bus. Supposedly, GGMS comes by with family member to check on the kids at TN’s request. Maybe GGMS wasn’t really the one who went by the trailer at this time. Maybe it was really TN and a family member. Maybe they’re all trying to distance not only Ron from the trailer, but also TN. I think by this time, Ron was already told to get his hind end to work and TN was possibly helping Haleigh. If GGMS was at the trailer, I think it was to get Junior out of there.

The Laundry – why so much information about laundry when there is a 5 year old child missing? Why did GGMS supposedly bring over clean clothes at this time? Maybe the laundry basket was used to remove HaLeigh from the MH. Maybe she was put in it and covered with clothes to conceal her. If GGMS brought laundry over like this all the time, no one would be suspicious seeing someone carrying out a laundry basket full of dirty clothes. Maybe the dirty clothes that were found in the dryer were the ones used to cover Haleigh when they removed her from the home.

Why is there a need at this time of the evening to check on the kids? Shouldn’t Haleigh be taking a bath and getting ready for bed? She had school the next day. Why the need to check on them THAT night? According to GGMS’s first story, the kids were on the porch eating their dinner Misty fixed them on quite a chilly night IIRC. Why lie about this? I don’t think Haleigh was eating anything at this time.

Maybe Misty keeps saying it was GGMS who came by the trailer, because she wasn’t really there and is repeating what she was told to say. We have to keep in mind how quickly TN arrived at the MH once 911 was called. She HAD to already be in Satsuma waiting to make her big entrance with her picture ready, etc.

And add to this from my post above, why is Ron at someone's house when the evening news is on needing money?

Teresa got Misty to pick up Haleigh at the bus stop, against Rons wishes, Teresa was just tired of watching the kids after having them all weekend, or Annette was tired of watching them, one of them contacted Misty and got her do to it. Or Ron made one of them call her so he could see Misty.

Ron was also at the bus stop, or was laying in wait, this would be the first time he saw her since she went off and and was having sex with GP. She gets the children, drops off her passenger, and Ron followed her and somewhere either at the mobile home or on the road, maybe explaining the scratch on the van, and altercation happened and somehow Haleigh died. Good post. I think you're right, but I think TN has a lot more involvement and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one that took Haleigh's body. JMO

I think Whisp is right too with the Rita Ln address. That place needs to be torn apart and searched.

I've entertained that thought for quite sometime now.. I suspect he needed money to have Haleigh's remains disposed of in a manner in which no one would ever know what had happened to her or ever be able to locate her remains...
And YES, I do believe it is quite possible that by hook or crook somehow he and his family managed to have her body cremated.JMHOOTS

I agree with much of what you have stated however I do not believe the incident occurred at 202 Green Lane. I'm also inclined to believe Ron C had full knowledge of everything that was going on that night.

For some reason I have always thought the actual removal of Haleigh's remains from wherever was carried out by a male and not a female.. I just can't imagine a woman being given that task.
In reference to Jr. I don't have a clue as to whether or not he was really there at the MH that entire night.
One thing for certain for me, I do not believe GGMS saw Haleigh alive and well that night like she has claimed she did...JMHOOTS

That was always hinky to me...Oh, and didn't that same funeral home director also set up a donations account for Ron at Bank of America? That seems even more hinkier <-- is that a word? lol

And IIRC he was present and on the scene a couple of weeks ago when the 2nd year memorial was held at Annette Sykes residence.
Not saying he has any knowledge IF this did indeed occur but there are definitely others associated with this funeral home who Ron C seemed to have connections with through doing landscape work on the premises.. Also, my understanding is there is a pet crematorium located at the same facility..JMHOOTS.

I have always wondered how well of a relationship Ron had with the people that set up that donations account. What ever happen to that money? It was clearly set up for Ron only and I found that very very odd. Remember the big stink about Crystal not being mentioned in that account, if I remember correctly. So, these people set up an account for Ronald. He lived in tents the first several weeks, got a big T.V. for the tent, gets him a truck, tattoos, and gets married. But had no job. I wonder if thats where the money went?
I also wonder if the funeral director got a cut out of the donations? Not accusing anybody just wondering where all that money went that was donated.
I don't think any of it was given to TES for their search efforts.
After Ron go his truck, tattoos, and got married it seemed that the there was no more talk of the donations account. I really wish there was a way we could find out where that money went, I thought that if it was a donations accounts legally they had to prove where the money was spent. Or did they and I missed it? If so can someone kindly link me the receipts. TIA :blowkisses:


I know this may sound gruesome but what if Haleigh was cremated and that is why she can not be found? Putnam is a small town, anything is possible. Not saying that is what happen, just a theory.
