I agree Emeralgem, I also think he would manipulate others into getting rid of evidence for him as well. (i.e MC, TN, AS) I'm curious what happened to his best bud "Orlando" also! He just kind of disappeared (from our eyes anyway) I would think this would be someone LE would want to keep in touch with, being so close with Ron and all... does anybody know if there has been anything written about Orlando lately that I could check out?

BBM...One would certainly think so, however to my knowledge LE has never mentioned him... Orlando has not been seen or heard of since he just kinda vanished.. Poof and he was gone..JMHO..

We haven't forgotten him here, & mention him from time to time. The main reason I remember him, is because of how close he & Ron were...the kind of friends who would do anything for each other. Unless something too big scared him off. It's MOO, that he saw Ron doing something detrimental to finding Haleigh. & it's MOO, that it was more than him staying with Misty.

Here's a what if scenario... what if Misty is in the dark about everything that went on that night at the motorhome, and has been covering Ron's to gain his trust to find out what happened. Ron must tell her what happened or else she will tell the truth. Ron thinks he can marry her to stop her from talking(husband/wife confidentiallity thing), but she tells everything to Donna after the divorce, even taking her throughout Florida, pointing out all the places Ron told her about. Since everthing is heresay from Misty she would need to gain some credibility by proving her allegations true, hence the fall back into drug dealing. Now Misty's plan didn't go exactly like she wanted, everyone got arrested and Donna's tapes were not made public, but I'm sure the cops heard them and can investigate the allegations made on them. Maybe the unrelated search in Volusia county earlier this year came from those tapes, stories about bodies and guns being thrown from bridges as good disposal sites and now this search in lake Underhill with the bridge running over it....makes me think they just might be making some head way.JMO

I have thought about this theory before, and what really makes me think its possible was that one cop saying the initial 911 call came in around 2 am that night, not 3am, what if the second one where Ron was involved was a ruse against Ron? Its way out there, but I do wonder....

Great point! Orlando may have found out the truth and wants nothing to do with Ron... maybe he has cooperated with LE and offered up some good info, it's possible LE is still in contact with him... who knows? This is one of the most unpredictible heartbreaking cases I've ever heard of. Poor Haleigh! I hope for her sake the truth wins out in the end!

Didn't I just read that someone had found the link to the neighbor that heard screams? Was that you Emeralgem? I would love to find that link. What time were those screams reported, what time were they heard? Was this Misty coming to the MH and discovering the crime scene.

Another thing that makes me question Misty, is TN's complete turnaround. Misty went from being the best gf Ron ever had, to being a witch who needed to be hung. Really!!! What a turnaround. Would TN cover for Misty? If there was something in it for Ron, I think she would. Would GGS? maybe, but I'm not so sure about her. As soon as they were all arrested, TN acted like the jig was up, & it was every man for himself. I guess this would depend on how much trouble TN thought Ron would get into for having an underaged lover, an incorrigible babysitter, the guns, the drugs, & no telling what else. My guess is that he could've gotten into a lot of trouble. & remembering how TN praised Misty's skills with the kids, lol, & how she went on about them being a regular family, lol'n even harder...well, it does make me wonder why she was selling what she was selling.

I agree....TN has done a complete turn around regarding Misty.....

IMO...it all has to do with TN asking Ron in jail....Do you think she will talk???...(Sorry no link for that...)..but most have heard she said that....

And perhaps Misty IS talking...to the LE........yes, a lot has been reported that Misty can't tell the truth...but HAS SHE?????...Has she said some TRUE facts that have been verified by the LE ....and to ACTUALLY be true...???

This, to me, would be the ONLY reason for TN saying she would "want to see Misty hanged" and Misty is nothing but a liar"...(something to that effect)..She is trying to discredit to the media ANYTHING that Misty would say...Why???????.....and more importantly...WHY..NOW??

IMO..the drug bust was not the reason for TN to "turn sour" on Misty..
TN knew Ron was involved in drugs...and had been...he didn't need help from Misty....he could get into trouble all by himself...

IMO..it was something she feared Misty would tell...about TN/Ron..

Yes, I believe Misty is talking....and I believe it's true information..and LE are NOT talking about it....and keeping their lips sealed...

IMHO IF LE is telling Crystal that Misty,Tommy or Jo did it then the LE handling this case needs to go back to school and learn how to properly investigate a homicide case or themselves be investigated by another agency....

And IF Crystal believes it was Misty, Tommy, or Jo who is responsible for Haleigh's death then she needs to break her denial concerning Ronald Cummings and his involvement in what happened to their daughter, however painful that may be...
Also, IMHO..There has never been a turnaround with TN concerning Misty.. That was all show to keep Misty from knowing they were planning to set her and her family up, prove her original story was a lie when the going got rough and when they felt the time was right....And Ron C, TN and AS have done exactly that...TN started revving up that bus for Misty back last August when she contacted Mark NeJame and Tim Miller...JMHO

Every single thing they do is to promote ronald's image and secure their keeping of JR. From dressing the children, washing their clothes, buying them everything they could afford, they made it appear as if rc was a meticulous and generous father. All they had to do was keep ronald happy...achieved by making sure any woman in his life is there and will keep him calm. They know his temper and they also know he can't go it alone. He was/is not mature enough to sustain employment or relationships. They felt they need to help him. RN was overbearing, I'm sure and GMA was the provider and watchkeeper. These two women have been enabling ron his entire life.

Yeah, this is what I don't understand. It appears as if no authority figure in Ron's life has held him accountable for his wrong doings. He doesn't know what it means to suffer the consequences of his actions. (Until now, possibly.) Why?... I don't get it. What's sad is that this is far too common nowadays. There are plenty of RC's out there with the "above the law", "do it now cause I said so", "me me me" mentality. It's kinda scary.

I doesn't look like it's related to Haleigh, in this article linked below, in the third paragraph it says:

A spokesman with the Sheriff's Office said the search is part of an Orange County criminal case, even though the lake is technically within the jurisdiction of the Orlando Police Department.

But you still never know, I've been looking for follow up stories but haven't come across anything new yet.

I believe this term ....homicide...means different things.... to different folks.....

IMO...Homicide..means...a death occured to an individual..(not a natural death) that was caused by the action of another individual...like strangling, knife attack, gunshot, etc.....some bodily harm that results in death.

So, I am wondering what evidence the LE have...that bring them to this conclusion..that Haleigh's death is a homicide..

Any suggestions??? thanks....

Honestly, I don't think they have much. But, after Tommy's stories, I do think they probably got some blocks, rope, & a few other things that tied into his story. So, since that stuff was where he claimed it would be, LE realized that the death part was true, because what else would explain the stuff? & didn't LE also get some rope from Tommy's house? Also, LE got furious with Art Harris, etc...for claiming that human bones were being tested, but it did come out later, that yes, some bones were tested, but they were animal bones. My theory on that, is that LE released those results, so as to 'bury' some more important results from something more substantial. What? I have no idea, but it's MOO, that whatever it was, it's keeping Tommy backed into the Joe story. maybe something that belonged to Haleigh? clothing? blanket? Also, I think those dumpster hits are key...regardless of how LE played them down.

Yes!!! The dumpster hits...and the LE DID SAY..there was nothing found.., but I believe that those 3 dogs hit on her scent..It could have been clothing, blankets of hers...OR...Haleigh could have been placed there temporaily.., then moved...but it was SOMETHING...for CERTAIN..
1 dog...maybe......2 dogs....something's up......3 dogs...BINGO!!.(IMO)

The LE are sooooo very secretive...and tight lipped...They only SAY what they want us to know and to believe.....to keep ...TRUE information from getting out to the public that would hinder their investigation..

Ron screaming at Hank has me thinking. How did he go from publicly supporting Misty, (not that long ago), & thinking at the most, she was coerced out of fear, to yelling that someone needs to do to Hank, what Misty did to Haleigh? ok...did he learn something while in jail, lol? How over the top & dramatic Ron is. & looking really guilty. I'm trying to keep an open mind, & this is just a theory, that I want to try on. Ron gets home a little earlier than expected, finds Misty gone, & in a rage, kills Haleigh. She could've wet his bed, been whining about cramps, or maybe he found that he really had been doublecrossed & robbed. He takes Haleigh, discards her, does his alibi drive thing, picks up smokes, drives like a cracker, ignores Misty's calls...why not? the dumb b#&*% had ignored his! He gets home, Misty asks him if he has Haleigh, he says no, then the clean up, cover up starts. Misty really didn't know because she was gone, hence, (I hate that Patsy Ramsey word), the reason for Ron's, TN's, etc...absolute insistance that she was home. If Misty admitted to being gone, then that would open the door to anybody being culpable...including Ron.This would also explain the changing stories of Misty being asleep, not asleep, when Ron got home. the record of her unanswered calls to him. Ron, at some point gets a hold of Tommy & says, ' I think you killed my kid, while you were robbing me.' Well, this scares the bejesus out of him Joe & Timmy, but instead of going to LE & fessing up to their crimes, they just let things slide, hoping for a die down. In the meantime, Ron lays the guilt trip on Misty, blames her, (& it works, because she set up the gun theft), but harbors her & marrys her to keep her quiet, & then sends Tommy the dead rat, to keep him from ratting out the theft. In jail, Tommy claimed to have found Misty gone...his 1st step to getting the truth to rolling. During this time, Ron is feeding Misty all kinds of crap. He even tells her that a a druggie tells him that Joe, (& maybe Tommy), did do it, & told him how & showed him the dump site. He takes Misty there. Fast forward to jail. Ron's being treated like a prince, & Misty & Tommy scared the truth won't be believed, (because they don't know the stinking truth), somehow get together & rework Ron's Joe story. But they know they need a witness to be believed, so Tommy being the more credible, claims to have seen it all. & that's where we stand right now. Whew!!! Go ahead, poke holes, but Ron screaming at Hank, (too over the top), & the nagging idea that actually being robbed, would enrage Ron, has me pondering. one more thing, then I'm done...this theory would explain why nobody has really been snitching. (except for what seems like a lie, because Joe hasn't been arrested, & whatever complete turnaround tales Ron is blabbing about Misty). Not only would only 1 person know the full truth, (Ron), but the others are covering their own crimes & whatever they entailed. maybe they were even coerced into cleaning up & covering up.
