It was cold, Levi. It didn't warm up in the daytime as nicely as it usually does. Fact is, it has to get the waters warm enough to get the gators to come out from their burrows, to even sun... If the water temp is colder than the air temp it's going to take many days to warm up enough to lure them out. Remember, this is the beginning of February and we were in a 'cold snap' here.

If you knew Ron, like I've observed Ron, you'd know that he is cunning enough, IMO to be redirecting or misdirecting people to look here and not there. As callous as I think he can/could be, IMO, he isn't or didn't have his daughter tossed in the river to feed the gators. No, he had her buried.

BBM.. I'm still not convinced they didn't manage somehow by hook or crook to have her cremated in the pet crematorium at Watts Funeral Home...Either that or quick sand...JMHO

I agree, she was not placed in a body of water. I've learned to take what Ron says and believe the opposite. That is most likely where the truth can be found. jmo

Hi GER!!!

BBM :)

ITA!!!!

The past couple of days i have been thinking the same thing, just as i thought with Misty, Look at WHO she ISN"T pointing at......

If Ron says water, i would check ALL areas of land. If Ron says check the land, i would be checking any and all waterways.....Whatever he says is the opposite of its true meaning...JMO

Rons a monster though, a now known Nazi, him saying his daughter could be with the gators, its disgusting on every level and should negate away from any theories this was stranger abduction. jmo

Here in Tennessee it can be freezing cold one day in the winter, and then mild the next. If it is like that here, it is certainly similar in FL. Maybe they threw her in the water, then days later the gators got her?

I just think the way Ron talked to Cobra about what gators do to their prey, shows that he threw Haleigh to the gators. I can't even imagine vocalizing that if I were in his position and a family member was missing.

It depends entirely on the temperature of the water, not the outside temperature. A brief warm period would not be long enough to change the temperature of the water. The gators would be too sluggish to feed at this time of year.

OOOOOOrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, maybe Haleigh was handed off to one of Ron's family members at the boat ramp like he handed off his precious gun to keep for him. You remember, the family member/biker who was keeping his gun and who brought it to a location for pickup by LE, many months later. IMO, Haleigh was never put into the river, however, she may have been handed off to someone in a boat at the boat dock.

There is no way Ronald went to work 45 min early. Thats too weird of a thing to happen on the day your child goes missing, and weird that he was on PDM grounds for 12 hours. The cops said we are satisfied with the 8 hours in question. Well what are the eight hours? 7-3? They then say, HOWEVER, we dont know what time the crime happened, so whatever or where Ron does not matter, he can not be ruled out at all. He was probably late for his shift because he was too busy burying Haleigh or whatever he did, or he skipped work to stalk Misty and ambush her and got to work at 7 to let everyone clean up his mess.

IIRC this was said to be a regular habit of his. To arrive early.
He isn't a suspect anyway. <shrug>

Well, he is a known Nazi and white supremacist, some of us probably find that worse than being a suspect, even though, imo he is, but we can agree to disagree on that!!:seeya:

I was under the impression that it had been proved that alligators do NOT feed below a certain temperature? I also thought it had been proven that the temperature during HaLeigh's disappearance was well below that needed for alligators to move/feed?

I have many thoughts on this and unrucky Ron...

I think you're right Ger.
Would gators also not take 'food' into their den (on cooler days) for a later food source? You know, for a warmer day? I hate typing that :(

Thats so dedicated of him! Probably was working 40 hour weeks? So he would see his daughter for the ride home, then left to be the best employee, that does sound like him. So based on that he probably saw his daughter about an hour a week, proving that even if Ronald had physical Custody, the two weekends Crystal had she spent more hours with them. Thanks for reminding me of that. I wonder how Crystal and Amber are going to explain the hate symbol on Rons neck to their kids? jmo

I'm sorry, but who is it that claims this to be a habit of his?

I disagree, he has been and is, at least a person of interest...IMO

It was just a blurb in the article when it was reported he was at work his shift. Maybe, possibly, because like I said If IRC, his attorney???

While I don't know the specifics of this, it is of my opinion and just using my common sense that if the water is too cool for the gator to consume food and they're sluggish moving...and that would be during the 'warmer' period, such as day time, I find it hard to believe that they'd take their food to their burrows during the night time, when it is considerably cooler/colder in the water...I don't think they'd be overly active for doing that...but ya know, I really don't know for sure...*grin* I tend to stay away from anything to do with gators...like snakes, they scare me.

Oh, well if the maybe paid Attorney that has Rons best interests to portray him in a positive light says its true, it must be!!

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Thank you, then I can't really change my opinion on RC and his work habits or lack there of, IMO. I understand a lawyer 'exaggerating' their clients version of the story, he's working for his client, therefore he's going to shine that client in the best possible light. Anyway, one person saying this, one time as a verification on the work times, I find hard to swallow. *shrug*

Neither is anyone else. And just because someone said anything in court means nothing --- if I didn't know that before this summer, I sure know it now -- show me something official that Tommy was NAMED a suspect, not called one.
