Yep, EM and it is still astonishing isn't it? I don't think the Pope would have been cleared as quickly as this "mysterious" AC man.......:banghead:

Not a thud, not a shocker. She isn't the first nor will she be the last. There is nothing to this story at all IMO.

There may be nothing to the story....but dudeeee, I stand by my *thud. It NEVER crossed my mind that the big secret about the AC guy was because he was shackin' up with GGMS. And as far as making it look guilty.....keeping that quiet for all this time sureeeeeeeeeeee makes it quack like a duck. :twocents:

I had never heard this about the a/c man being GGM's live in boyfriend until it was posted here a day or two ago. If true, it opens up a host of questions for me.

(1) Why all the secrecy as to his identity?

(2) Particularly if this guy was in a relationship with GGM, why hasn't he stepped up and cleared up an often asked and discussed question; Was Haleigh there that afternoon while he was repairing the a/c?

(3) Did he go in and out the back door while doing his service work? Was the door propped open with a block? Did he lock the back door, or know if it was locked, when he finished?

(4) Did he talk to Ronald on the phone as stated by Misty in her LVA? Was Ronald at work?

(5) Was the purple Altima in the driveway?

(6) Was Tommy there with his kids while he was repairing the a/c?

Practically every member of the family has spent time being interviewed offering statements regarding what they saw or knew. Why hasn't the boyfriend of a missing child's great grandmother who was supposedly THERE within hours of her disappearance? IF this boyfriend-a/c man story is true, he was in a position to verify much of what Ronald and Misty have said about that afternoon. If he was GGM's boyfriend, why wouldn't he?

Why would LE care if he did?

They didn't seem to have a problem with GGM telling about laundry, green beans, and children on the porch that evening, did they? They didn't seem to have a problem with Teresa telling the world, on Nancy Grace, that the bedroom door was ALWAYS open, did they? They didn't have a problem with a host of neighbors from the area going public with what they saw or heard, did they?

I don't understand the secrecy that has surrounded this a/c man and his alleged visit, whoever he may be.

I totally agree with your post, Papa. There would be no "mystery" here if LE would just offer a bit of information. Especially if the AC man saw Haleigh or not. I don't care if I ever know his name, I just want something, anything verified on your posted questions. So far the women on Ronald's side of the family have done all the talking.

This could also almost explain why GGM's trip over to the Mh wasn't known for nine days after Haleigh's disappearance. No one but Misty, AFAIK, has named the other person who was supposedly with GGM that evening, and who the heck believes that one? Misty's identification came only after there was much speculation as to the identity. Misty never mentioned GGM's visit that night until after GGM made her "That's a Crock" statement. That person was mysteriously not named by Teresa and Annette and the AC man has not been named either. These two are the ony two who remain annonymous. Maybe they are one and the same. JMO.

Yep, she sure was. It was obvious to me that that visit was suppose to have been kept under wraps. Maybe Teresa Neves "spilled the beans" unintentionally when Nancy Grace asked her a pointed question about who was at the MH that night. She sent a "relative" to check on the kids was really the only statement that she could absolutely attest to since she supposedly wasn't there. She had to have been going by what Ronald and Misty told her about Tommy and his children being there. She does state that a "cousin" had been there but Ronald interrupted by saying "Cousin wuddn't there".

I've always questions the granny being there story. At that point I was only getting info through NG, but it seemed to come out to protect Misty.

I remember specifically that a relative had been there -- no time or name given and somehow that was to prove that Misty was home all night. Didn't understand it then and dont' understand it now.

So I doubt that was kept under wraps -- looked more like it took that long to develop the story.

Does anyone have the original of when it told that the cousin was there, not there? And I do understand that TN and RC claim to know being there so how would they know for sure? But my question is was there any reference to it being a male or female? I'm thinking that mystery cousin was Hope, not Joe.

I have no idea who the AC guy is or isn't and it doesn't matter that much to me since I don't suspect him of anything at this point. But it just occurs to me that *if* AS had a friendly relationship with a neighbor of Ron's it might explain why the story was at one point that she drove by and waved at the children. Where RC lived wasn't the sort of place you drive past a lot except maybe if you visit a neighbor.

Well, that really told me nothing, but going on Kim reported it then it must be true, it sure opens up a ton of stuff about Ronald Cummings and his parenting.

I disagree with 99% of your opinion.
Misty has said she left for a while and when she returned HaLeigh was gone I've linked it several times.
LE says Ron was at work during the time line they are working for this crime. Opinions are moot IMO on that topic.

How does that count as Misty changing her story? Do we have a link of her saying that she never smoked out on the porch the night Haleigh disappeared?

I don't see anything here saying that she said Haleigh had disappeared while she was out on the porch having a smoke, although it might have been a more believable story, having seen her smoking a lot. Wasn't there something about her and Tommy sharing a joint on the porch, or was it under a tree? That might have got her mellow enough not to care if there was some noise from the back of the house.

I could have bought that story better than the other one. It seems in character, I see the post-binge Misty as more of a smoker than a launderer and cleaner.

I'm still not convinced AS was the relative. I thought maybe HS, and since she was a minor st the time, maybe they didn't release her name. Because of AS admitting to being mad, I think her visit might have happened earlier. just guessing though.,JMO.
