I would love to see Cindy and especially George in therapy. I do not like their actions in fact I am particularly repulsed by Cindys... but I do believe most people can be helped by intense therapy, if they really want the help that is. Casey on the other hand.. well there is no known treatment for antisocial/sociopathic personality disorder.

Right, thanks. I only saw the pictures and not the story. I think Caylee would have loved being with them, unfortunately she is in heaven - and they didn't kill her, and she knows it. My guess is she'd be happy for them.

I agree she is in heaven and would be happy for any joy they have, she was obviously a sweet precious child. My point was in their shoes I could not do it. Not this soon after the trial if ever. I would find no joy doing things that my child/grandchild would have loved.

I don't think they could have done it four days after she was found, but that was three years ago and they've been through living hell. No matter what anyone thinks about them, they obviously loved Caylee. My opinion is that they didn't want to see their daughter walk free, they just didn't want her to die, and it may have backfired, if you believe the entire case was lost on Cindy's testimony - I do not (not saying you do, saying "you" in general).

Exactly - no treatment for what Casey has. Do you think George and Cindy will ever really be healthy again as long as Casey is able to manipulate them? Sadly, I don't think so.

IF KC is at Menninger's AND the A's are there, I doubt they would be visiting her. At best they would be meeting with the psychologists for collaterals (much as what do when we interview/meet with parents of children who are recieving psychotherapy). The parents would be providing a family history and a hx of KC's behavior seperately from KC herself. She wouldn't be there or hear them speak of her. That's also a way of confirming information given by a patient and providing more intel in terms of what we are working with (patient hx, family dynamics, behavior, personality, current and past functioning, etc).

I don't believe KC's there until it's confirmed by MSM. IF she is at Menninger that would be the best place for her. There would be no reason to push her to come to FL until she finishes outpatient. Better yet would be to transfer parole to TX as there would be a reason she's in a different state. She should still serve the parole but just elsewhere if that's state has a treatment facility which FL can't match and seriously, FL can't match Menninger's.

I agree with everything you said. I think George and Cindy were as stunned as anyone when the not guilty verdicts were read. The majority of the Anthony's testimony was not in Casey's favor in the least. The jury said they discounted ALL of the chloroform testimony so it's not likely that Cindy claiming to have made the searches had any affect on the decision at all. Besides, if Cindy were trying to cover for Casey, why did she deny doing the "how to make chloroform" and other searches? I realize that some people feel that there is no reason for Cindy to be on disability, it's obvious that her doctors feel differently. We can not discount Cindy's mental state when discussing her testimony. Maybe in her mind she really does think she made those searches.

My thoughts are that George could be helped.. if he broke ties with Cindy and wanted/asked for help. Two big things that will probably never happen. Cindy on the other hand, well lets just say Caseys personality was not a random happening.

What exactly is it that you think George and Cindy need help with? If people leave them alone and Casey doesn't re-enter their world, I think they'll do just fine.

I'm happy to see them smiling and enjoying sweet animals that don't go for their throat. One joy I get from these pictures is knowing how tickedoff Casey must be seeing them enjoying themselves and not pining away for her.

It is sad and tragic that KC couldn't be there with the dolphins, lol.

GA and CA look really well rested. I can't imagine that they didn't think about how much fun Caylee would have swimming with the dolphins especially as she loved the water.

Oh my, I wish I could swim with dolphins, too. Did I do something wrong not to be afforded that opportunity as well? :cheerful:

Color me disgusted!

I would rather have all my kids right here under the same roof with me than swim with dolphins.

I don't see why the media has to follow George and Cindy around. They have not put themselves in front of any cameras that were not on their tails since the trial. I am glad if they can get any enjoyment out of life.

Yes, they've toned down a bit. But 3 years of history is a bit hard to erase. Let's also not forget that they are putting themselves out there right now by establishing and promoting their new "foundation" through their lawyers press releases.

Amen

...but then they don't have that option.

and IMHO success is best defined as having options.

Have fun with the dolphins.
