Wow, ok that is new. I am going to keep things updated in my original post. Can you give any details if you remember, where this info came from. Thanks.

I have to check for the date, but I know he said on camera, the day he first took out the mobile billboard that he would be doing that since he lost his job.

I got it from reading on WS. Sorry I don't remember the thread or posts. I am pretty sure the Disney Job was supposed to be after the billboard thing started. It was around the time of the licensing fees that ABC paid for photos and video. MN said George and Cindy were not paid anything. ABC said they paid. They never did say who they paid. It could have been Casey, Lee, any of the attorneys, or the PR firm of the month. I belive MN always speaks the truth so who knows who it was that got paid.

I heard they left Ohio when KC was like 2 or 3 years old.
I think, based on whaqt I've read that they left in 1989. Not sure what he's been doing (apart from odd jobs) since then...That's a long time to be getting your feet on the ground with a family and two children...20 years...

Diane Sawyer made a point to say that ABC DID NOT pay for any interviews with the A's.

You're not nutz coco lol -- I saw it too. They were looking for free assistants to help them weed through their 'tips', check emails, run errands, of course they had to have a car and supply gas. LOL I wonder how many 'applicants' they had? Someone from LE should have applied undercover. HAHAHA

np ..... I have suspected over the years that something wasn't quite right with his story. Reading about GA, I feel the same uneasiness about his workman comp claim.

Unlike others, I feel his unemployment is a huge part of the A's dynamics within the family. I mentioned this in another thread. Here is CA, the only person holding full time employment. GA not working full time, apparently can't find part-time work that pays minimum bills they have decided to split. She has a daughter who has a child she is solely supporting along with KC and GA. CA wants a divorce, but finds out SHE has to pay GA alimony.

The fact that GA isn't working is relevant. He is in his late 50's. The chances of his gaining employment that pays even half the monthly cost of the household expenses is nil. He has blown his settlement on gambling, so he claims. KC is sucking the life, pun intended out the family with her lies. CA just turned 50, she isn't the best looker around, probably not having sex since she is so angry with everyone else in that house. They both love Caylee and refuse to confront KC directly over her actions because they both know they cannot do anything legally about it. It was a bomb ready to be lit and that is exactly what KC did on the evening of June 15 with the big blow out over KC stealing money from CA's parents.

I don't see GA being gainfully employed again. He might be able to find minimum wage outside of Fla and it might be hard to find even that given the economy outlook now for the future.
just wanted to compliment you, Countzero, on a very intelligent post. Insightful, thoughtful and completely accurate from what I can piece together.

Didn't George lose most of one worker's comp settlement in the online scam? It's hard to believe that someone would be off work that long and at least not be on social security disability or SSI in twenty years time. I guess worker's comp payments and the knee replacement could account for several of these years though.

I'm sorry but I have never believed that GA lost a ton of money through an Internet scam. I don't think he's all that bright, but I don't think he's stupid either! I think this Internet scam is a ruse because he fell back into his gambling ways and CA would rip his face off if she thought he'd done that again. All MHO, of course.

I need a re-cap. I feel that I am missing vital info here.

BTW, I made the mistake of entering his new job offer December 27, I added the right day but forgot to get rid of the Dec. date.

You might want to go ahead and fix that, then. It certainly confused me.

I think it is relevant to know his lack of financial support in the household where Casey and Caylee lived. Cindy was the only one bringing in money in that house. Basically George stretched the worker's comp knee thing for all it was worth. Casey, high school drop out, creates the "perfect" job for herself-gets up when she wants and pretends to go to work and bring Caylee to the imaginary sitter. The Anthonys didn't have much spare money, with feeding and clothing a 22 year old daughter and her 2 year old child.
I think that is why they never checked out "Zanny"- as long as they didn't have to pay for the sitter it was all they needed to know about her. Sitters are expensive! George and Cindy were not spring chickens, they loved Caylee dearly but I doubt they wanted to babysit all the time. George's lack of contribution monetarily to this family is just part of the circumstances that was going on in that house.

That's their little caveat. They don't pay for interviews But they DO pay licensing fees for the pictures and videos. We already know that money changed hands for interviews from their former spokesperson Larry Garrison.
Sorry for being OT in the George job thread.

It is pertinant if he were LE at a point and smelled a dead body in his daughter's trunk. Once a mandatory reporter, aren't you always a mandatory reporter?

...good one!

Nope, you are right. Both LA and GA were looking for personal assistants when the search for the child began.

Believe it or not, I dont think your missing much. Not much to report on GA's work history.:snooty:

It does add-up to me that Cindy could support the entire family on a Nurse's salary.
George may have been working under the table off and on.
A secret they would not want known.
IMO

not to be judgemental but i think that GA definitely had a knack for getting hurt on the job and collecting WC.

too bad KC did not inherit this knack... she could have had WC and never needed a fake job to cover wherever she was actually getting her money, and thus no fake sitter... and little caylee might still be with us.

maybe KC and GA were involved in some sort of online scam and thats why neither of them worked but always had money. maybe GA had to pay back someone that found him out and thats where the "lost money" thing came from.

That is correct. You are absolutely right. But ABC also said they paid to license the photos and videos. That is not paying for the interviews. They also said it is their policy to not pay for interviews. And it is their policy to pay to license.

MN said George and Cindy did not get paid a cent for anything. I believe him. He can not speak for Lee, Casey, Baez, or any of the publicity firms involved.
But at the end of the day, ABC said they paid to license the photos and videos.

IMO GA was a role model for his daughter. You know, "monkey see, monkey do" I remember reading on myspace, when this case began and you could still read her original myspace page..."Maybe dad should read "Getting a job for dummies"..words to that effect..it was in a conversation between Casey and LA. In that same time frame there was also the comment that said "Mom and I taught Caylee how to do shots the other night" Probably Caylee's shots were soda..I hope. Really great role modeling there.
