George & Cindy's Response to "NO DEATH PENALTY" Decision

I for one would rather the DP be off the table. It's a far worse punishment for a 22yo social butterfly to spend her entire long life rotting in jail. She could be there 70 years or more, wiping the mascara smudge tear from her right eye endlessly until her skin wears away. It's still a DP, only without the fan fare. She'll die alone on her metal cot, beside her stainless steel toilet, without a cell phone, text messaging or access to the internet. The lack of men to flirt with alone could kill her.
Far more likely she'll get a conviction too! The A's can just keep on spinning. Lalalalal...I don't hear them anymore anyway. :)

:floorlaugh: No more men to sleep with either!!

Except a life of solitude is not nearly as pleasing as one might think. Look what's happened to Charles Manson. He may have been evil when he went in, but he most assuredly was not batsh!t crazy. Solitary's done that.

Without an adoring and doting audience to preen for and order about, Casey will wither.

Far more painful for her than a lethal injection. Far more just of an outcome.

ITA. As much as she likes to blather on, I feel it is very wearing on her to spend so much time by herself. Can't wait to see her when the trial starts.

Washing the pants, which may have already been washed by Casey, has nothing to do with finding Caylee. Caylee's hair was provided to LE when it was asked for, yet Caylee has still not been found. A JCPenny receipt of purchases made long after Casey disposed of Caylee's body is not helpful in determining where Caylee's body is located.

Do you really expect the grandparents NOT to report possible Caylee sightings to LE? Up until recently, LE followed up on those tips. They apparently didn't feel it was a waste of time. I see no way whatsoever that the Anthonys have delayed the search process.

I know that the pants and hairbrush didn't help not find Caylee, but taking the time to have to get subpoenas and make requests for things instead of the A's giving everything that they have to help find Caylee does take time from the investigators. I think they knew something early on was terribly wrong and as soon as they figured out that KC had stolen the gas cans and that she refused to let them see Caylee they could have brought LE in for the her stealing the gas cans. If KC disposed of a body, the longer the time has gone on, the less likely she will be found.

I would expect them to report legitimate tips. That little girl that has had her picture all over the internet is not Caylee. LE's following up on anything and everything that they have been given to verify that Caylee is deceased and they have make public statements saying so. As a GP of a missing child of course I would want to investigate everything, but I would also know if my child was actually working, if there was a babysitter, the babysitter's phone numbers and where they lived.

A very thoughtful and insightful post, Y. I agree completely.

Just for a minute, people should try to imagine being the parent of a distorted child such as KC. What an unimaginable nightmare.

Ah, but the question is - what made her that way?

I most definitely don't believe people are born evil, so assuming she is really guilty of all that she is being accused of, how did she get to be that person? She also was once an innocent sweet baby girl!

Although I totally agree that she has been responsible for her own actions for several years now, what sort of foundation did she have on which to develop and grow and learn how to be a mature, responsible, truthful and well-adjusted adult? From what I have seen and read of her parents, I think she is also a victim in many ways (although I'm sure I'll get lambasted for saying that!)

IMO this whole case is a tragedy in more ways than one. I'm fairly sure that poor little Caylee is dead, but not convinced that it was the result of an intentional and cold-blooded murder. Either way, she ultimately paid the price when the cauldron of trouble that has been brewing unseen on H. S. Drive for many years finally boiled over!:mad:

The pants and hairbrush were given to LE voluntarily without a subpoena. You ASSUME the As knew something was wrong at the time that the learned Casey stole the gas. That doesn't mean they DID know. Casey had stole gas from them in the past, it was business as usual. LE is not, to my knowledge, investigating the mall sighting. They have stated they will no longer look for an alive Caylee.

Again, I see nothing that the Anthonys have done to delay or interfere with the search for Caylee, and I don't understand people placing blame on them, as if they know where she is. Casey is the one who is responsible for Caylee's death and only Casey knows where the body can be found - if it can be found.

I am certainly not trying to place the blame of them for her being missing, I just think they could have help the process instead of slowing it down. I feel extremely bad for them for this situation, and I hope that they will have their answers soon if they don't already.

You know, as much as KC likes to flap her trap, maybe LE should have placed her with a cellmate. Someone who was also in "protective custody" for a child related issue might have gotten some information out of her. We hear of jailhouse informants all the time.

Exactly kaRN, the circus is almost over. The baby may never get to come home because of all four of them, that, they will have to think about 24/7. All of us strangers will love her like she was ours and think of her forever. I just hope that when the trial is over and clue girl is growing old in her new home, the public and media will drop the Ants like a hot potato. Hope they all never have a peaceful nights sleep as long as they live.

I don't know that they have done anything to hinder finding Caylee, but they certainly haven't helped in the search. By them not giving LE the pants before they were washed, Caylee's hairbrush, wanting them to chase after little girls that obviously aren't Caylee, they have wasted LE time and resources on ligitimate searches. They have withheld receipts and probably other critical info that would help in narrowing a timeline and location of KC, who is the last "known" person to see Caylee. Everything that I have seen about missing children says the quicker that you can search, the more apt you are to find them and they certainly have delayed the process.

It was already 31 days.

They turned their backs on Caylee by doing whatever they can to prevent her from being found or to put up roadblocks to that end. Period. (Yes, CW...they DID!) They have tried repeatedly to thwart searches (see all the videos about TM et al), Cindy gave LE the wrong hairbrush (on purpose) to slow down the process of getting her DNA, Cindy lied about the date Caylee went missing, cleaning out the car, washing the pants, washing the knife...these are all acts to delay finding out what happened to Caylee. This is turning their back on Caylee in order to save Casey and to also keep keep the money flowing. They do not want Caylee found because it will mean that the case against Casey strengthens and their money goes away.

They have no reason to believe this child is still alive. If you will look at any other missing child case ongoing in the US, you will find that people have a reason for hope. No DNA found, no decomp found, no stain in the trunk, no hair with the obvious sign of decomp, and the people last seen with the child are not known liars who would ship their grandmother down the river to save their @sses!

Cindy A. was the last known person to have seen Caylee alive (which has been independently verified) on June 15th. ;)

Absolutely-----that is a fact!!!!

Now why, oh why, wasn't KC smart enough to point this fact out to LE?

Surely KC would have no problem saying Caylee was never returned to her
after her Mother took her for the Father's Day visit to Mt. Dora!

Wouldn't CA then be the POI instead of KC?

True...KC did admit that she "dropped" Caylee off with the sitter, admiting that she was the last one to see Caylee because no one except KC says they have ever seen the babysitter.

Also in the interview where KC talks about the babysitter having roomates, since she doesn't mention both of them being with the babysitting during the "kidnapping", why haven't they come forward about their roomate if they are involved in this? No babysitter...no kidnapping.

Casey doesn't want her parents to believe she did anything to harm Caylee. If she accused one of them, they would know she was lying. Plus there would still be the question of why Casey didn't report the crime, why she went out partying all month, why the cell pings show her at the Anthony house on the 16th when George stated he saw her. A make believe babysitter at least leaves some room for doubt - at least in Casey land.

!

That and ALL the little things, the minutia spewed like "They didn't even do an Amber alert" (Cindy said this within the last 2 weeks?!). When she fully knows the Amber alert rules. Tons of things like that.

I want her hauled in.

Because she needs them. She needed them to be on board to spout the spin to the media. I would NOT be surprised once we come to trial - Cindy & George will be served up on a platter by Casey. I believe it'll come down to this.

We already know she told others that Lee & George did things to her. She's more than capable of throwing them under the bus at trial when she doesn't need their spin anymore. IMO

After seeing the vids of Adverb Creature in jail, I don't think she likes it very much. That being the case, bring on life behind bars for her if she convicted. The Ants are hopeless. They'll kill themselves with unreality and empty dreams, but there doesn't seem to be anything anyone can tell them, or show them, that will convince them otherwise, and no one close to them seems willing or able to convince them to get the serious help they need to get them through this. Pity. It's very sad. As for The Creature, let her spend the next 20-70 years contemplating her sports bra.

Adverb Creature....contemplating her sports bra?! I love it! How brilliant!!!!

It's absolutely amazing to me how the A's just can't keep their yaps shut. Their chronic diarrhea of the mouth is just sickening. What's even more amazing is that they just don't get it. It makes me crazy! :furious:
