German authorities said a tip from the former boyfriend of a 36-year-old woman led police to the grisly discovery of three badly decomposed corpses of newborn infants.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was arrested in central Germany on Sunday after the bodies were found in her house.
A police spokesman said an infant boy and girl were found wrapped in the attic of her home, while skeletal remains of a third infant were found in a trash bin.
