The mother of the Berlin Christmas market massacre monster who was gunned down by Italian cops early Friday says she's desperate for "the truth."
"Bring us his remains, even one of his fingers, and I will put it in my pocket ... They killed him when he was only a suspect," he said.

Another brother, Abdul Kader, said the family knew Anis was a terrorist and that he died "the day he swore allegiance to Daesh [a derogatory name for ISIS]."
"He did not call us when they published his picture -- that's what convinced us that he was the one who carried out this terrorist attack," Abdul told the Daily Mail.
Now, intelligence agencies are trying to discover the deadly path Amri took to get to Berlin -- and who may have helped him.
It's believed he met ISIS agents in Italy, who then radicalized the reefer-loving former petty criminal and brainwashed him to kill.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack and on Friday posted a chilling video of Amri pledging his devotion to the death cult's emperor of evil.

Switzerland, Japan Among Places That Are Safe From Terror, U.S. Cities Increase Security Following Terror Attack In Berlin
Of course, not all countries are at high risk from terror attacks as Japan and Switzerland, along with Iceland and Poland are countries that are considered to have a low risk from terror threat. Tourists who are traveling to Bolivia, Ecuador, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Vietnam also don't have to worry about terror attacks as these countries also have low terror threat.

With the threat of terror attacks at an all-time high this season, it's important for people to be vigilant and careful. It's also advisable to try and avoid large crowded areas, especially popular landmarks, and outdoor markets, as these are prime targets for terror attacks.

So what is the difference between Japan, Switzerland and Germany and France?

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/01/japan-rejected-99-percent-refugees-2015-160124070011926.html

24 JANUARY 2016
Japan rejected 99 percent of refugees in 2015

Justice ministry says it accepted 27 asylum seekers out of record 7,586 applications last year.

Asked by reporters at the UN General Assembly last September whether Japan would join other countries in accepting Syrian refugees, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe replied that his country needed to boost its own workforce first by empowering more women and older people to work.

"As an issue of demography, I would say that before accepting immigrants or refugees, we need to have more activities by women, by elderly people and we must raise [the] birthrate," he said, according to the official translation of his comments.

"There are many things that we should do before accepting immigrants."

Refugee crisis: Switzerland seizing assets from migrants to fund their upkeep

Like Denmark, Switzerland is stripping refugees of their assets to contribute towards their upkeep. The arrivals are required to hand over any property over the value of £691 (CHF1,000, $996), prompting alarm from the UN's Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

Swiss broadcaster SRF's news programme, 10vor10 showed a receipt which had been given to a Syrian refugee by authorities. He said that he was issued with it after being forced to surrender more than 50% of the remaining cash that he and his family had, after paying traffickers to get them into the country.

Same in Germany really. You only get money from the state if you have less than a certain amount of wealth. You have to provide information on all your assets. Once their apllication is processed and they receive government assistance (Hartz 4) you are only allowed to keep 150 € multiplied by your age.

Berlin attack: Anis Amri's nephew and two more arrested

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/...ted-berlin-market-attack-161224125942763.html

Amri's nephew has confessed to Tunisian authorities that he had been in contact with his uncle via Telegram, a messaging service, and that Amri had asked him to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group, the statement said.

The nephew has also said that Amri sent him money by post to enable him to travel to Germany, where the Berlin attack suspect was living at the time.

World's most wanted man is dead: Rookie Italian policeman guns down fugitive Berlin killer screaming 'Allahu Akbar' after he shoots his fellow officer when they confront him in Milan as the Tunisian's ISIS video is revealed

Vintage Daily Mail!

IMHO he was on his way to a greater target and he did not plan to end it near a railway station in this unspectacular way.

I'd say: maybe even Rome, the Vatican and Christmas.

Good thing they caught and killed the terrorist. He goes down with a whimper.

I would not be surprised if Anis Amri is an injustice collector, a vicarious injustice collector, which characterizes terrorists like Omar Mateen, Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, Osama bin Laden, 9/11 Terrorists, Abubakar Shekau, and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Berlin truck attack: Polish driver 'shot hours before'

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-38442447

Polish driver Lukasz Urban was shot in the head hours before suspected jihadist killer Anis Amri rammed the man's lorry into a crowd, say German media citing a post-mortem examination.

The conclusions of Mr Urban's post-mortem examination say he was shot in the head between 16:30 (15:30 GMT) and 17:30 and lost a lot of blood, the paper reports. His boss and cousin said he had lost contact with him at around 16:00.

From the BBC article:
The attack on the market at Breitscheidplatz took place just after 20:00, and he may still have been alive at the time in the passenger seat although not capable of grabbing a steering wheel, Bild adds.

Meanwhile, he fundraiser for Mr Lukasz Urban has hit over the £ 170.000 mark.

Although I did not know Lukasz, the story of his untimely departure shocked and disgusted me, and I cannot comprehend how his family feel at this awful time. So, as a fellow trucker, I decided ro reach out to the trucking community and beyond to help in some small way.

No amount of money will bring Lukasz back, but hopefully it will help his family do what ever they need to do.

I can understand that the discovery that he was either already dead or still alive but unconscious when the attack happened, is relevant news. I also think his fellow trucker grasped the awful reality and its terrible consequences much better.

MEANWHILE IN GERMANY, WHILE YOU WERE POSSIBLY WONDERING ABOUT THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS AND HOSPITALITY...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...fire-Christmas-Eve-Berlin-subway-station.html

On Christmas Eve, seven young men set fire to a homeless man at a Berlin subway station.

The entire attack was captured on CCTV, and so were the celebrating assailants when they boarded the metro.

Within 48 hours all seven were in custody.

Six of them come from Syria.

One is from Lybia.

Though their official stauts varies, they all entered Germany between 2014 and 2016 as refugees.

Six of them were already known to the authorities for various crimes, including violence with bodily harm.

The homeless man survived thanks to the speedy intervention of bystanders.

BBM

Germany should take a long and hard look into the background of these criminals.

According to German Intelligence 550 persons are ready and willing to commit terrorist attacks. Anis Amri was one of them. Bureaucracy prevented his deportation and they lost track of him.

These 550 terrorists are supported by a network of at least 5000 others, who are ready and willing to provide terrorists with whatever they may need.

In an even wider circle, gems of humanity like these seven guests of the German taxpayer, are about half a million.

FYI hardly anyone has been convicted by a court of law for the rapes and robberies in Cologne during New Year's Eve.
333 suspects were identified
35 were prosecuted
18 were found guilty and some of those found guilty left the court with a wide grin on their face because of the minimal penalty.

Happy Next New Year, Germany! Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't be getting better.
