I am reading old threads on WS… there’s just no end to this! So many unsolved cases look like RH now. But Rashawn Brazell’s 2005 Valentine’s Day murder is eerily similar. Dismembered. Body parts throughout the subway underground system - areas only available to someone with knowledge of the system… taunting phone calls after the murder. I just have to believe LE is looking at all these cases with fresh eyes since RH arrest.

A little excerpt:

May well be, we have had this already .... I just found it, while searching for "080672", unsuccessfully. You know, one is only finding things, which aren't meant to appear, haha.

Looks like it's in the first superseding indictment.
I now remember seeing this about the cell phone number.

I think that is probably a coincidence, given the girls all had street names, sometimes multiple street names. They didn't use their real names with clients, so he only would have discovered their names when he killed them.

So he couldn't have sought after Megan, Melissa and Maureen for their M names, as he would have known them as Lexi, Chloe, and Marie. Only one of them used an M name as an alias. (Neither Shannan or Amber's aliases were M names either.)

unless he found out their real name on a date and then targeted them for that reason

Can someone point me to the post where it first discussed these three other charges so I can read through?

Asa's comments were neutral at first. At least the quote is, although Rodney Harrison described more emotion that the words do, when separated from a voice.

It is strange to go over a year from "It is what it is," to "He's not capable."

There is so much information in the media and the charging documents. I would think it's more natural to go from "He's not capable," to "It is what it is," over time than the other way around.

Or to go from "He's not capable," to "He is being framed/scapgoated."

I could see going from "It is what it is," (IIWII) to "He did very bad things," because to me it's a progression from denial to acceptance of the information. But to go from IIWII to "he's not capable" doesn't feel like a natural progression. Nobody has to start in denial that a person is not capable. None of the information that has come out between July 13 2023 and today would contribute to the theory that Rex is not capable. The information that would support that hypothesis would have been prior to the date she said "IIWII."

"Harrison previously told CNN that the reaction of Ellerup and her two kids suggested they had no idea “about this double life” as an alleged killer.

“But, time will tell,” he told the network. “And once again, there are still a lot more questions that need to be done to the family and friends.”

Is it common knowledge that a fellow WS member was a part of this episode? It's also been speculated that RH was here on WS keeping tabs. I suppose now that RHs' IP address has been revealed, WS mods would be able to look into it. Or have they? JMO FWIW.

I’ve thought of that from the first time I laid eyes on it. It seems too large to fit into the basement. I thought maybe at one time it was a swingset. But yes, it is the right size for big posts. I can’t see it being moved easily though.
He wouldn’t need to move it when the trees were full. In the one picture posted prior to the frame being moved out in the open, you likely wouldn’t be able to see who/what RH may have had hanging from it. He could have used the guise of dressing a deer to explain any blood etc if it were questioned. I hope the police searched every inch of that structure for DNA as well as the ground under the covered tree area. If not, IMO they need to return.

There's speculation swirling as to whether Rex Heuermann may have called a documentary filmmaker seven years ago in an attempt to pin the serial killings on somebody else. Producer Josh Zeman was making a documentary about the Gilgo Beach murders. He says his office got a voicemail from someone who claims to know the killer. He now thinks the caller may have been Heuermann himself trying to point the finger at an innocent man. Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano has more.'

yep I had two screens open with his interview on one and the audio of the call to Josh on the other and had my husband listening to see what he thought

I don’t think it’s him. Because of the less nasal tone of RH who has a more guttural sound to his speech. But the high pitch is similar.

Would have liked to see the voice analysis results, the specialist giving his opinion, with no “science” not convincing.

I think the accent matches, but that just pinpoints the caller as someone from Long Island. I don't think it's impossible that the caller is RH, but I'm not 100% convinced. It's eerie though.

Yikes, he got credits too on imdb??, plus, what was the phone number Josh dialed. So incriminating. Ty for the share. Diabolical. Cells, landlines his big mistakes. Similar to btk with the ip address

I agree that really might be him. When I listened to RH's voice in his architectural interview, I even wondered then because I'd already seen "Killing Season." Could be. Grateful to @dotr posting this here because usually I have to pull the clips separately. Certain bits of wording sound like RH. And he undoubtedly tried to alter his voice to some extent. If they had a phone number to call him back, will that phone turn up in RH's mountain of seized devices?

Has it already and we simply don't know yet?

For those who still think RH’s "Thawk080672" may be referencing a location with "Tomahawk," here's something kind of interesting. A profile of Red Tomahawk was on the highway signs in all of North Dakota from 1923-2016. Here's what that would have looked like:
1720178203652.png
Probably pretty memorable for someone who roadtripped through NDakota at any point. Checked into North Dakota unsolved cases and found Michele Julson reported missing from Bismarck Aug 5 1994, 5'6" 155lbs Last seen at her grandfather's 8/2. But someone thought they did see her afterwards: "She was reportedly seen by a friend at WeFest, an outdoor country music festival in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, on August 5; she was allegedly in the company of a man named 'Tom' who drove a black four-by-four Chevrolet
In light of what we know about RH, that's kind of creepy, so I wondered about the 08/06/72. 08/06 would have been the day after she was spotted (maybe?) at this music festival in MN with "Tom" who had a dark 4x4 Chevy. But what about the "72" in this scenario? That's not her dob. There is an Enchanted Highway in NDakota, and it's a must-see for roadtrippers. Source: "Located in western North Dakota, these larger-than-life roadside attractions span a 32-mile stretch of highway and are truly a sight to behold.... this collection of scrap metal sculptures draws thousands of visitors to rural North Dakota each year." A couple of these massive sculptures would already have been up in 1994, and I have no doubt any tourist traveling through saw them. Over the years, many more were added, including this one at exit72/Gladstone ND (erected 2001):
1720178166806.png
With RH’s extensive travels and interests in duck hunting, I can’t help but wonder about this. Enchanted Highway is just over an hour away from Bismarck, and it is desolate. Probably the reason they have these enormous structures is they know how seldom those passing through would ever get out of their vehicles. This particular statue wouldn’t have been up in ’94, but he may have seen it or read about it since, and a couple of the other statues were up in ‘94.

Michele Julson worked as a blackjack dealer, just as Maureen Brainard Barnes had. MBB was for a time a blackjack dealer at Foxwoods casino in AC. It's curious.

I think it was him.

But that is just an amateur opinion.

I bet LE knows definitively.
