Officers are appealing for information to trace a 39-year-old woman who is missing from Carnoustie.
Gillian Sturrock was last known to be in the Ravensby Road area of the town around 5am on Thursday, 20 October, 2022.
It is unusual for Gillian to have left without letting anyone know where she is going or not to have been in touch with her family who are growing increasingly concerned.
She may be travelling in her black Citroen C1 car, registration SP12 UNZ.
She is described as white, approximately 5ft 7in tall, medium/heavy build with blonde shoulder length hair.
She was possibly wearing a black fleece jacket.
Inspector Martin Jenkins said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Gillian or her vehicle or knows of her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland.
“It is really out of character for Gillian not to have been in contact with her family.
“We urge anyone with any information get in touch with us, and Gillian if you see this, please let us know you are okay.”
Anyone with any information should contact police via 101 or contact any Police officer, quoting incident number 1389 of Thursday, 20 October, 2022.
