Family Christmas issues.
Washington machine making atrocious noises--I shut the door and turn up the radio. I'm hoping to get a few more loads out of it before I call for repair/ditch it.
I'm almost glad I work tomorrow.

Boxing Day
Celebrated in the UK and many Commonwealth countries, Boxing Day originally involved giving “Christmas boxes” (money or gifts) to workers and the poor. Today? Massive sales, sports, and everyone still in pajamas.

In all churches in Poland
you can admire beautiful, unique Nativity Scenes.
Their unveiling takes place during Pasterka Midnight Mass,
celebrated on December 24-25.

I did feel content but now realise that I probably need a new washing machine

It seems however much I rearrange the load, the machine sees it as unbalanced.

I'll add it to the list of appliances that are failing.

Sandwich maker, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't
Kettle similar thing but I gave it the Whack Whack method and it worked for a couple of months longer.
I gave it a good talking to as well, told it that if if wasn't fixed by this morning it's for the bin.
Did not work. Then another go at the Whack Whack, nothing.

I don't need a new kettle though as I always buy a spare one of ones I like so now I'm using the brand new spare.

So even though I don't need a new kettle, I will buy one for a spare

And a new laptop for just in case.

Anyway it looks like this load of washing I might have to end up wringing out by hand.
I'm going to try all the menu ones and see if one of them might still work for the spinning part.

It is the nature of things
to get broken with "wear and tear"
(sometimes with our "help" by not reading instructions how to properly use them hehe ).
We can repair them or buy new ones.

But...
the most important thing is
NOT to let ourselves get broken.
Because we are NOT replaceable.

Enjoy Life.
Cherish even the tiniest thing that brings you pleasure.

Don't pay attention to those who are unkind.
Their hurtful words or acts
give testimony to THEIR character, THEIR nature/personality.
NEVER you.

Just shrug, smile and march forward without looking back.

I always look after everything I own whether it's something small, like a cup or a knife and fork
I put a lot of thought into treating all I own in a gentle thoughtful way.
Yes it may take longer but it makes your belongings last a lot longer.

I treasure everything I own.

My last washing machine lasted 36 years
My last fridge lasted 37 years.
Other appliances lasted almost as long.

Thie washing machine is 15 or 16 years old. They don't last as long as they once did.

I always read the manual and also use my commonsense

User error on my part is Nil
