St. Nicholas Day!!!
Santa's Day!!!

This is a beloved Day for children in Poland.

On St. Nicholas's Name Day (Sanctus/Święty Mikołaj)
children receive small gifts
and exchange best wishes.

The tradition for this Holiday in Poland
is the Day of
St. Nicholas, Bishop of Myra,
(famous for helping the poor and needy)
and is celebrated on 6th December
(in Catholicism).

The cult of St. Nicholas in Catholic Church has existed since the 9th century.
