I'd better hurry up and get a new laptop.
This one is doing crazy things, like copy and paste often doesn't work.

And now after I uploaded the photo, the laptop without me doing anything made it my screen background.
I knew which laptop I wanted but they discontinued it the week before I tried to buy it.

Then I thought as it was so close to Christmas and all that busyness I'd leave it til after New Years Day to start looking again for a laptop that has the features I need.

I know what I might be doing in the near future.
While looking on my old drives for family photos, I found a drive that has all sorts of stuff I recorded from the TV.

One, I think enough time has gone by so I can watch all the episodes again because with some the memory of who dun it has faded.

It's Murder She Wrote. I found it takes me a long time to forget and a few I never will.

But almost 10 years has gone by since I last watched them so now I hope I can enjoy them all over again.

This will be the third time I've watched them, including when they were first broadcast.

Just spent some time watching the bats "flying foxes" fly in to feast on the plums on nexr doors tree.

They look so huge flying over and they look like they're wearing little furry pants, their little legs look so cute.

I love bats. We have pipistrelles roosting in our eaves and they are so unbelievably tiny and adorable. Little bundles of flying fluffy cuteness.

well how special for you!! Are your family and guests coming from far distances...??? The chaos sounds great!

I have always felt that Christmas falling on a Thursday is the BEST day of the week for the holiday.
The Friday after is always an extra holiday for most working folks. AND then the weekend...
and then only 3 days of work the following week!

i have tried to love them more!! I had just lived in and had old New England barns that were homes to many and many.
But, I have a friend who is like a bat protector, so I have been "educated" to like them more.
i dunno.... like she goes out to make sure these bat homes are in good order.
Obviously, I am forgetting EXACTLY what she does... but she LOVES them, and has fed me more and more articles over the years to "love" them as well.
Now if they all stayed looking like that one on the finger.... well that makes it easier.

well... my PT has been training me how to do pelvic muscle building while sitting...
maybe you can try those after the toes.
