The camera was Travis'.

ETA: if Jodi was extradited from CA to AZ, couldn't AZ LE investigate her belongings, computer, camera, etc.?

I believe so, since it's related to the case.

I feel sorry for Juan, the forensics guy blew it and Juan had to try to lead him to water and try to make him drink to no avail....like the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can not make them drink. Juan clearly knew more about his line of questioning than the forensic guy did for answers.

Something just occurred to me. I guess you can say I'm slow on the uptake. Jodi erased all the pictures from the camera. I recently did the same. I had to go to delete and yes each time. The picture, of course was there. Well then, she had to see the "accidental" pictures.

Maybe she didn't look closely.

I don't quite see how he is blowing it??? The PA is laying the foundation for the camera and they have just gotten to the part where the actual camera was introduced.

How is he blowing it?

They haven't even gotten into the guts of the evidence found on the computer or camera before court was stopped for the lunch break. How could the forensic guy have "blown it?" :waitasec:

A big hello to all of our lurking guests! Just wanted to extend an invitation to you all to sign up and join the board. We have had quite a few new posters on this board and many have brought excellent perspective and points to ponder.

Thanks, I am not sure why this case has struck a nerve with me. But I am glued! I am also a psych nurse so I am drawn to mental illness!!!
I am patiently waiting for the trial to answer all of my questions.

I guess I haven't waivered on Mister obvious... she totally did it. But I am still wondering if she premeditated it or if she did all of this on a whim!

Thanks for the Welcome!! :seeya:

I dont think they are. They are as important to see that justice is done as the Prosecutors. I think where the dislike comes in is because most defendants are quilty and convicted. Without defense attorneys there would never be a resolution one way or the other.

And of course it depends on the behavior of the defense attorneys in court. Frankly Baez and Steve Feldman in the Westerfield case were slime imo.

Some of the best attorneys I have ever seen have been defense attorneys.
Who are respectful to the witnesses, to the court, and knows the case inside and out and are great examiners. I am very glad that innocent people have found such attorneys to fight for them.

I don't think all defense attorneys are slime - however, I do take issue with the outlandish stories that are fabricated by some of them in these high profile cases. I believe our justice system was meant to function with the prosecution presenting factual evidence while the accused had an attorney vigorously defending them against any untrue manipulation of those facts. IMO it was never intended that the defense was to "fool" and "confuse" the jury with made-up stories.

They just showed a clip on In Session where JA was being interviewed in prison, and she said, "I don't think I could stand before the person who did this, and forgive them."

Bet Jodi didn't know all of this techie stuff about cameras, professional photographer she was. What was she using in her line of work, a Kodak Brownie!

I think she was a wanna-be professional photographer.

OMG Donavan was just on IS, at least her recorded stmt was.

I keep having to remind myself that this trial is not about guilt, but about whether Jodi murdered Travis in self defense or with malice!

Just my thoughts, but I think she was in a panic/hurry to get out of the house and deleted the photos without taking much time to look at them.
I also believe she threw the camera in the washer to wash any trace of her own dna/blood and to ruin the camera and card.

MOO
